No Japanese? I don’t drink whisky but I thought they made good ones.

Worthless. Not a single Islay Malt on the list.

I’d buy the Aberlour if I could. It’s only $145 for a bottle. I’ve had another Aberlours and have been very impressed.

I bought my first Aberlour. The Casg Annanh (sp?). it’s not the best I’ve tasted but it’s so unique that I keep going back to it.

Back in the day, whiskey and water was the only way to go for me.....and maybe a lime wedge.

They do, and there were Chinese scooping up thousand dollar bottles in Kyoto this summer.

My husband loved scotch.
We had the opportunity to visit Scotland. They had 250 different single malt whiskeys. He was in hog heaven. By now Scotland probably DOUBLED that number.

No Japanese? I don’t drink whisky but I thought they made good ones. I bought a few Hibiki 21s and 17s when they were still affordable. Those are for holidays. The rest of the year is just a dram of bourbon every few days or so.

I’m happy with Lagavulin or Laphroaig.

I am not certain that Japanese whiskey can be called Scotch. More knowledgeable folks can help me on this question.

Mr. GG2 likes Bowmar. I don’t care for single malt.

Why have a single blend... When you can just mash them altogether and have a souvenir star to stick on your wall?
