Getting benched could be the best thing that could have happened to him. Not quite similar, but I remember the aftermath of my first failed tactical evaluation. It woke me up, and was a great learning experience. If Bryce learns from probably the first failure in his life, he can mature into a professional NFL quarterback.

As for me, it turned me into a PITA: ok, I get it. If it’s my neck on the line, then stay out of my way and let me do my job. I ended up my two plus years as a Platoon Leader, and looked forward too being evaluated, because I was the best damn Platoon Leader I knew…lol.
