The only thing “cracked” is their ass.

Fusion is always 30 years away.

I was just joking...and then I saw this:
“We’re still working on the same problem, which is the structural integrity of fusion capsules used in inertial confinement fusion, and Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise is still helping us in the search for solutions...”

They’re going to hold a Mayo Clinic to teach other scientists how it works.

““We investigated the transition criteria between the phases of Rayleigh-Taylor instability, and examined how that affected the perturbation growth in the following phases,” Boyaci says. “We found the conditions under which the elastic recovery was possible, and how it could be maximized to delay or completely suppress the instability. The experimental data we present are also the first recovery measurements in the literature.”

My .02:

Most of us will not live to see fusion energy, solely on the basis of this report on their latest research.

Better sandwiches makes them think better.

Same way with wives.

I recommend.
Loads of kids too. Fun. Hard work, but fun.

The first thing I thought of was the scene from the movie “Airplane”. The doctor sitting at his desk at the Mayo Clinic with the heart bouncing around on his desk. In the background on the shelves instead of medical books the shelves are full of Hellman's Mayonnaise. "Give me Ham on five, hold the Mayo"

Well at least we know that whatever they come up with will be edible. It might make you fart rotten eggs. But it will be edible.
