Jane's Addiction have now cancelled their entire tour following the onstage bust-up between guitarist Dave Navarro and lead singer Perry Farrell.
The duo got into a fight last week in the middle of their Boston show, with eyewitnesses claiming Farrell, 65, began shouting at Navarro during 'Mountain Song.'
On Monday, Navarro, 57, told fans the tour would no longer continue.
'Due to a continuing pattern of behavior and the mental health difficulties of our singer Perry Farrell, we have come to the conclusion that we have no choice but to discontinue the current US tour,' Navarro said in a statement.
He continued: 'Our concern for his personal health and safety as well as our own has left us no alternative. We hope that he will find the help he needs.'
'We deeply regret that we are not able to come through for all our fans who have already bought tickets. We can see no solution that would either ensure a safe environment on stage or reliably allow us to deliver a great performance on a nightly basis.'
Navarro signed off the statement with a heartbreaking message, adding: 'Our hearts are broken. Dave, Eric and Stephen.'
This was the first tour in 14 years that featured the band's original lineup.
The post comes after Farrell's wife Etty Lau broke her silence after her husband attacked his lead guitarist, claiming the frontman was upset by being 'drowned out' by his bandmates playing too loudly.
Lau took to Instagram to share her husband's side of the story after he was slammed for body-checking and punching guitarist Dave Navarro on stage on Friday night.

The Gallagher Brothers have nothing on Perry and Dave.
Fire him and get a new singer.
I like a lot of stuff. Never figured out why I should like them. Oh well.
was upset by being ‘drowned out’ by his bandmates playing too loudly.
so why dint he punch the soundman???
all this negative dave navarro news is shadowing the positive relaunch of linkin park and their new lead singer...
Usually a dust up clears the air and deepens ties. I guess not this time. I say man up figure it out and get that money.

A sound engineering problem. Guessing it was a small venue... but still.
At the end of a particular concert, I gave the sound engineer a piece of my mind for not assessing the theater. The monitors on stage could infinitely be worse. At one reputable event, all that was heard were the stage amps — total disaster.
Dude is 65 years old? How time flies. Maybe they can do a reunion concert at The Villages.
These musical groups on tour live like vampires, sleep during the day and do their thing at night. Their damaged circadian rhythm can lead to mental health problems.
Coming down the mountain! Great song btw
Or maybe guzzling booze on stage, while "rock 'n roll", isn't very wise, nor professional.
Ray and Dave Davies had their share of dust ups.
Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker’s fights were legendary. Clapton said trying to mediate their stuff was making him ill.
i wouldn’t know...
I saw Janes Addiction when they opened for Love and Rockets way way way back in 1987. I loved Navarro — the dude could play.
But even back then, Perry Farrell repulsed me — he just gave off a vibe of pure, mentally unhinged evil. He has never failed to disappoint. The guy was, and is, a total nut case.
Farrell has always been volatile. I remember talking to him after a show at a small club in Birmingham, AL in the winter of 1989. He had a crazy demeanor about him. He was also really pissed off they had been booked into such a small venue (The Nick). They played about 40 minutes and he said “f8#& it!” and they were done just like that.
So I went outside and found the band waiting for their bus and started talking to them. Amazingly, no one else was hanging around them. I think people hadn’t realized the show was really over that fast.
They were all good to talk to except for Farrell. He had a major stick up his ass.
People often forget that he created Lollapalooza.
A final note - An Atlanta band, Mary My Hope stole the show as the opening act.
Roger Daltrey was, temporarily, thrown out of The Who for beating-up Keith Moon!
Roger cold-cocked Pete during the recording of Quadrophenia.
Another old guy who refuses to wear his hearing aid. Been there, done that.
Good I hope it hurt....Townshend has always been a proper jackass as far as I’m concerned.......and more than likely a pedo.
I do like when he attacked Abbie Hoffman at Woodstock.
