As Americans tried to piece together what happened at the Pennsylvania rally where a 20-year-old attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump, social media users falsely identified the shooter and sparred over whether the assassination attempt was staged by the right or the left.

The posts sparked confusion and vitriol even as legitimate details about the events emerged.

This is merely my personal question. First assassination was hobbit holed. From what I've read the second attempt is as perplexing as the first without a LOT of help. As usual I have a lot of questions, and my conclusions suggest there has to be some people( the "derp" state?) behind organizing this.

You don't have to read the article posted. I'm just really curious what other FReeper believe and what facts or conclusions or should we even draw conclusions yet as per Dan Bongino rule( wait24-72 hours)

It is reasonable to believe that some people were happy that it happened and then wanted pretend to be concerned. You can tell from their responses. It was pretty serious, both times.

They would probably be happy too if Trump's assassin was successful.

My buddy was a marine during after President Reagan attempted assassination and was plucked to serve at Camp David. He told me that every time “the old man” wished to ride his horse, he and his fellow marines would comb the general area in the Maryland national forest prior to his riding.

My Opinion: Like JFK before him, DJT is a threat to the shadowy figures behind the scenes of "elected" government.
Threats to the deep state/globalists/uniparty/etc., elites are subject to being targeted by expendable losers programmed by the deep state to eliminate opposition.
I read most every book on the subject of the Kennedy assassination that was published up to 2000. One lingering take away was the odyssey of Lee Harvey Oswald, as chronicled by Philip H. Melanson in Spy Saga: Lee Harvey Oswald and U.S. Intelligence. In the Marines at Naval Air Facility Atsugi, Japan, LHO was taught Russian! It reads like Oswald was a low level operative being handled by spooks/FBI.
Unless proven otherwise, I believe that Thomas Matthew Crooks and Ryan Wesley Routh (plus Sirhan Sirhan) are also government assets unleashed when needed.
