Every now and then the question gets asked, "if you had a time machine, where would you go?"
Aside from the money-making responses of looking up lottery numbers or the biggest winners in the stock market, one of the top responses always involves Hitler. Most would kill him as a blight on history.
Given that Trump has been labeled as someone worse than Hitler, a terrorist, and a threat to democracy itself, is it any wonder that the average Democrat considers killing Trump their civic duty?
The Democrats and their propaganda arm, the MSM, know what they are doing. Even after this latest attempt, many are doubling down on their rhetoric... and calling on Trump to dial back his own rhetoric as the ultimate example of gaslighting hubris.
We aren't done with the attempts on Trump's life. The marching orders have been received and more "lone actors" will continue to act on what they consider to be the highest calling of their generation. The MSM and the three-letter agencies will feign ignorance as they fan the flames.
Pray for President Trump and our nation. He has thus far been miraculously protected. May his protection continue.
I think I would look up Marx and Engles. They werent as well protected, and their beliefs are a plague on todays world. remove those, a lot might fix itself.
FR uses Viking Kittens for a reason. You might as well try herding cats! ;-)
Time travel isn’t possible. I know this is all theoretical, but I’ve already worked it out in my head in a LOT of mental scenarios.
The first question is whether you’d retain all of the knowledge that you have now. Of course, you could not have knowledge of something that didn’t happen unless there were some strict “destiny” that isn’t alterable, which is a horrifying prospect. (I’m looking at you, Calvinists.)
The second issue is that future knowledge would do you no good if retroactive decisions you made in the past change the future.
There are some modern philosophers who logically posit that the past doesn’t even exist.
Still a fun exercise.
Naw, that thinking is above their pay grade. It is all about MEEEEEE!!!! Whaaaaa!!!! NOW!!!! They are merely acting on impulse throwing temper tantrums. Granted, some of their childish temper tantrums have gone too, too far. Unfortunately, they’ll only be denied an adulting sticker instead of serving life in prison.
I’ve always said that you would need to bypass Hitler and go right to the root of the problem. Kill Karl Marx.
They were just puppets for Satan’s agenda. If they didn’t do it, he would have found others willing to do his bidding.
Everybody wants to go back and kill someone, usually Hitler, and think that would change the present.
Why not go back and save someone like Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette and their children?
Or Joan of Arc?
Or Buddy Holley?........................
We aren’t done with the attempts on Trump’s life.
<><>The marching orders have been given

The past doesn’t exist beyond what I experienced, so all of you who think you know something from “some earlier time,” “before me” are experiencing figments of imagination.
Prove me wrong.
I’d go back and date Brenda in high school. She had a crush on me. I wasn’t interested because she wore coke bottle glasses and her chest was too large for her body.
Now I know how she turns out and it’s pretty good.
If I did that, I’d be at least 3 times her age, and she would be underage. So that probably wouldn’t turn out well.
Maybe I should just focus on winning lottery tickets.
A really good Twilight Zone episode, “Rip Van Winkle Caper,” has a group of criminals stealing gold bars from a vault, and hiding out in a remote cave where hibernation cubicle await them. The idea is that their existence, i.e. aging, will be put on pause until many years in the future when all of the authorities looking for them will be dead and gone, and they’ll be able to enjoy their gold haul without worry of prosecution. Waking up 100 years later (all but one, who succumbed to the years through a shattered glass cocoon,) deadly greed gets the best of them until only 2 survive, and then only 1 after a final murder.
Dying of thirst, the one barely-surviving outlaw offers a gold bar to a passing hovercraft motorist couple for a drink of water. He then dies. The contemporary motorist looks puzzled at the offer of gold, which has been synthetically created for many years and was now virtually worthless.
The Bolsheiks, all of them, and all of the National Socialist “leadership” of their thugocracy. The common thread for both systems is world Socialism. Socialism is theft, and antithetical to human need to strive for success and survival. Against all human nature.
Look at the cost, historically to the world of Communism-in excess of 100 million killed. The Black Book of Communism is quite a documented read.
You’d die with them.
Provided I wasn’t alone and unarmed, I’d opt for the Stone Age. Help get things up and running.
Or, take along a big ole copier and head for Alexandria library in its heyday.
Wouldn’t mind seeing the pyramids when they were going up.
If the time machine can’t be trusted...guess I’ll go with America circa 1950’s. The folks recommend it highly. If I got stuck there it would have some consolations.
That’ll be the day…
Forget Hitler, just bet every penny you have on the winner of the World Series.
I’ll wave at you while heading back to 1972. Wish I knew then what I know now.
I’d still vote for Trump 3 times.
Gainesville to stop UF from hiring Billy Napier.
They will try again.
As the time becomes short they will become more desperate.
If he actually wins, all bets are off between then and January 20th.............................
that is a great episode, one of my favorites.
I think that if I had a time machine, I would go back for example, and snatch Nikola Tesla the day he died. Bring him forward and hopefully more modern medicine would save his life. He would be a very valuable asset to have with modern computing power. No telling what he’d come up with
I would prevent the sinking of the titanic; but, only to prevent that horrible Celine Dion song!
