Meghan Markle appears to be in royally hot water.
A bombshell new report alleges that the Duchess of Sussex, 43, terrifies her staff, with one source describing her as a “dictator in high heels” who has reduced “grown men to tears.”
The embarrassing exposé was published by The Hollywood Reporter on Friday, and is likely to rattle Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, who is celebrating his 40th birthday this weekend.
“Everyone’s terrified of Meghan,” a source close to the couple alleged in the article, which examined high-turnover among the Sussex’s staff.
“She belittles people, she doesn’t take advice. They’re both poor decision-makers, they change their minds frequently. Harry is a very, very charming person — no airs at all — but he’s very much an enabler. And she’s just terrible.”
“She’s absolutely relentless,” another insider told the outlet. “She marches around like a dictator in high heels, fuming and barking orders. I’ve watched her reduce grown men to tears.”
Markle and Harry have had high staff turnover throughout the years. Markle’s top aide and private secretary departed in 2021, and last month, the couple’s chief of staff resigned after just three months on the job.
But the “Archetypes” podcast host is no stranger to being criticized for her behavior toward her employees. In 2018, Buckingham Palace investigated Markle for her treatment of two royal aides, which was labeled as “bullying behavior.”

Laughable how classless she is - thankfully Brits feel pity for us, not anger at her being foisted on them. Oh, and how scary is it that she just keeps on shoving herself on everyone, not taking the hint that NO ONE likes either of them. Kind of like an abusive spouse showing up again and again in an attempt to wear you down to where you are so battered you just give up as you don’t have the strength to protest.

I hated my first job. I realized if I took on credit card debt, bought a car, or bought a house, I’d be locked into Hell. I lived below my means. While my coworkers bought awesome cars, I drove the twenty-year-old junker I’d used while in college. (I splurged on new tires.) While they bought houses, I lived in an apartment featuring a hollow core closet door for a front door. (It also had two prostitutes living next door.)
Years later when I worked for a big international defense company, I lived each day knowing they might try to force me to sign my name to a fraudulent certificate of compliance. I had a year’s living expenses saved. When the time came, they hit the Quality Manager instead, and he almost went to prison. And he got fired when the government found the fraud.
What I’m saying is, we build our own chains. I made mine from paper mâché and library paste.
Harry’s experience is like that of many men as understood by a certain type of female:
