I was watching Alexander Mercouris' video and he mentioned the partial media blackout near the start of today's episode (8 min or so) i.e., the 'key' part of Putin's statement (Ukrainians wouldn't fire long-range missiles because NATO personnel and NATO satellite intel required) is not part of media presentations there.
The first US thread I checked (Fox News) omits that key part.
So the Neo Con 'narrative' is that Russia is attacking Ukraine for 'no reason' and when Ukraine tries to defend itself, welp then Russia is at war with NATO. The Media is quoting sources which say, "Just let the Ukrainians defend themslves. Give them what they need to win."The accurate message they'd have to say, if they ever told the truth is, "Just let our US/UK military personelle fire their long-range missiles deep into Russia, so we can finally be directly involved in the war on Russia."
That's what Biden and Blinken want, war with Russia. The Pentagon says 'No' to those long-range missiles, or their personelle firing on Russia. But the Deep Staters are clamoring to get WWIII started.

Since Russia is using Chinese and North Korean weapons, is Ukraine at war with those countries? I seriously doubt weapons we provide require US personnel to operate them.
In my opinion, it sounds like more empty threats.

I think the Ruskies are referring to targeting data. Sure the Ukes can run the systems well enough, but exactly what to target and what those coordinates are is something they need intelligence data on.
Ukraine does not have the satellite spying equipment that can count the hairs on a gnats rear end from a hundred miles up. The NATO allies of Ukraine do, in particular those named by Russia.
So this is likely a real threat.
The “second point” was known and obvious.

Well, if Russia and China fired long-range missiles deep into the United States, we would have been at war with Moscow and Beijing. Foreign supplied drones are attacking inside Russia - and that's not a red line. Supplying NATO F-16's for Ukrainian pilots to fire missiles on Russian troops was not a red line. The destructive power of long-range missiles fired deep into Russia by US and other NATO military personnel and satellites are the red line.

I specifically pointed out that the Western media has a black out on information which Putin said, which is key to our national security. Zelensky is quoted, and honored by our officials - we can 'bear' to find out what Putin actually said, instead of waiting for the Media to decide what we're allowed to know.
All of those things were declared red lines by Putin you big meatball.

This red line is ‘NATO directly involved in war with Russia.’ This one matters - for those of us who think we’ve already given almost or more than 200 Billion dollars to the Ukraine while our own country is over run, and we don’t want a hot war with Russia.

All sorts of things are posted here, including what we don’t want to read. I do not like reading pro Harris commentary, but the logic is we need to know what the enemy is thinking. I do not like reading the Catholic stuff, so I just skip over it.
The point I’m making is about fee speech. I do not often read articles about Ukraine, this one is an exception. What I do see is mass bickering among members, such as your comment using that sicking “Ruzzia” spelling some three year old came up with. It’s so easy to see how arguments get started here with all the name calling.

Some don't but some absolutely do. Nuclear weapons that Ukraine had that were Russian, required Russian involvement to use them. They needed Russia to engage in the launch process for a nuclear weapon.
All of that talk about Ukraine keeping its nukes would have been a deterrent for Russian invasion, was all just stupid talk by people who are clueless. Do not kid yourself that Ukraine had complete control to launch those nukes on their own.
Do you think that the president has the ability to actually launch nuclear weapons? He only has the authorization for them to be launched. I do not know exactly how they are launched or by whom, but it doesn't rest in the hands of a single person. Even in this country.

No it isn't. Ukraine already has western missiles and has been using them on its own for two years. Ukraine is simply asking the US and the UK to stop restricting where it can use them. And as for hyperventilating... may I suggest that you look in a mirror?

It's not gaslighting. How would we respond if China fired its hi-tech long range missiles into the US from Mexico? Can mexican fire Chinese missile systems using intel from Chinese Satellites? No. Wanting to avoid war with Russia is a matter of national security you don't care about.
