All joking aside, was it in the rules that despite two breaks, they went for one whole hour before the first break, and then about 25 minutes before the second break just to come back for closing comments?

I thought (without any data suggesting otherwise) that they were going to trisect the debate into equal portions with these breaks. Did the moderators lose track of time an forget to call a break after 45 minutes or was it the plan to go for a full hour before taking a break?

The Bee’s observation is pretty close to spot on.... but based on the timing of her mic being left on with her jumping in on barbs, it suggests that the ‘huddles’ all happened during Coup-malala’s so called ‘five days of debate prep’....
