Kamala Harris made a campaign stop on Saturday at a spice shop known to openly discriminate against Republicans while calling for an end to political “division.”
The spice shop, Penzeys Spices in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, welcomed the Democrat nominee to browse the store and meet some supporters.
While facing a gaggle of reporters, Harris claimed, “It’s time to turn the page on the divisiveness. It’s time to bring our country together, chart a new way forward.”
“A lot of what I think is happening, and I was just talking with some folks here in Pittsburgh about it, is that people are exhausted about the division and the attempts to kind of divide us as Americans,” said Harris.
“And, them stepping up to make this public statement, I think is, courageous.”
“But also for people like the folks I was just talking with, it really reinforces for them that we love our country, and we have more in common than what separates us,” asserted Harris in the spice shop.
Penzeys Spices has an entire “About Republicans” page on their website with a staggering 842-word essay bashing the political party.
For contrast, the “About Us” page on the Penzeys website features only 461 words, including “We are trying to make the world a better place.”
Part of the “About Republicans” page on their site, penned by CEO Bill Penzey, informs Republicans they can shop elsewhere: “Going forward we would still be glad to have you as customers, but we’re done pretending the Republican Party’s embrace of cruelty, racism, Covid lies, climate change denial, and threats to democracy are anything other than the risks they legitimately are.”
“If you need us to pretend you are not creating the hurt you are creating in order for you to continue to be our customer...

"Penzey Spices" hates Republicans----welcomes Kamala Harris.
If there’s a word that we need to declare war upon it’s the word “divisiveness”.
“Divisiveness” has been used to justify every type of depravity there is.
Divisiveness against depravity is no vice. IT IS A VIRTUE.
Again. IT IS A VIRTUE.
Depraved behavior SHOULD be called out, reviled, and DIVIDED against that which is righteous and beneficial to society.
And we should never, ever, compromise or equivocate on that point.
EVER. PERIOD.
It’s time we took back our culture and expelled those inimical to it.
Add the word “Forward” to that. It’s been a communist slogan for over a century.
Who ran the “Resist” campaign during Trump’s first term? Was that divisive?
Who ran in 2020 as the “Great Unifier” but left the nation more divided than ever and slung every slur imaginable at conservatives?
“I’m so glad to be here as your presidential nominee. You know my first job was at a spice shop! Then I got into politics and moved up by, well - let me show you with this jar here....”
I canceled my Penzeys catalog and buying from them years ago

Penzeys Insider Says CEO’s Left-Wing Rants are Hurting Company

A Penzeys Spices insider says founder and CEO Bill Penzey’s frequent left-wing rants in emails to customers have lost the company more than half of its retail business over the past five years.
“It’s been devastating,” explains the insider, who spoke on condition of anonymity. “In 2017, our retail operations department flat out said that Bill’s attacks had cost the company 50 percent of our customers.”
Penzey has for years made political assaults on Republicans and conservatives a routine part of his “A Note from Bill” emails to customers, but the insider says he ratcheted up his rhetoric after Donald Trump won the 2016 presidential election. His emails made national news, but the publicity generated a backlash even from liberal customers.
Hey Hairass, I have NOTHING in common with the likes of you.
Amen.
Yup, they are superior by far.
Folks?
I suspect that real Yinzers buy their spices at Dollar General.
Figures - It’s always a lie, no matter what they’re doing
“Divisiveness” in the face of godlessness is no vice.
IT IS A VIRTUE, and we need to proudly and loudly proclaim it as such.
Lotta hard miles on that mule apparently
The old broad is looking pretty haggard there.
