Moment Ukraine launches second flesh-melting drone as weapon spews out 'dragon fire'

Dramatic video footage captures the moment a flesh-melting Ukrainian drone sets ablaze a tree line hiding Russian military positions.

The UAV approaches the trees before spewing out a wall of molten thermite that scorches the ground below it.

The drone leaves a trail of fire behind as it disappears into the night sky after its devastating attack.

“Strike Drones are our wings of vengeance, bringing fire straight from the sky!” the brigade wrote on its Facebook page.

My view, subject to change < RANT >:

1: The stealing of the 2020 election was a wake up call how corrupt and Orwellian the United States has become. The deep state is a sideshow compared to the establishment and uniparty. This lead to a loss of faith in all public institutions, leading to simplistic, black/white, either/or solutions. CNN and the NYT only lie; therefore, the opposite of what they say must be true. The world isn't so simple.

A lot the anger toward Ukraine is misplaced anger over the direction of the country and projecting it on to international affairs. US internal left/right politics does not directly extend past our borders. It used to be "politics stopped at the water's edge". Now we are treating foreign politics as an extension or substitute of our own, with a lot of wish fulfillment thrown in.

2: There is the active and massive Russian disinformation operation worldwide. How vast, and to what extent well meaning people are getting taken in I can not evaluate. Then there are the not-well meaning taken in for their own reasons. Scott Ritter and Doug Macgregor come are the top of the list.

Look back at the country after 9/11 or threads on this forum from 2001 to 2004. The hate toward Afghans, Iraqis, Arabs and Muslims rose, peaked, and eventually burned out. The hatred toward Ukrainian government and people took off after the Kharkiv and Kherson counteroffensives, and the hate stayed hot. Western voices opposing Ukraine have a palpable, visceral hatred toward Ukraine for defending itself from a Russia invasion, after years of Russia attempting to dominate the country.

3: There are misguided beliefs in the poltical right about what Trump wants. Conservatives project onto Trump the same as Democrats projected on Obama. Trump opposed the Nord 2 pipeline, and wanted Ukraine to have Javelin ATGMs and more weapons to deter Russia. Now conservatives act like Trump has it in for Ukraine, because he spoke nice about Putin a couple times. Zelensky's government supported Trump's version of events during the first impeachment. A fact which is now conveniently forgotten, denied, and subject to historical revisionism among conservatives. Putin didn't invade Ukraine when Trump was in office.

Hating Ukraine is conflated with supporting Trump, when Trump himself has not condemned Ukraine or condoned Putin and Russia. Trump didn't start any new conflicts when in office because he hates war on principle. The side he is on is ending the conflict.

4: On the right, there is a left over belief that Putin was or could have been a good guy from his early days in the Russian leadership. Look up Putin's December 17, 2021 Ultimatum to NATO before the invasion of Ukraine. Accusing NATO of threatening Russia was a excuse to invade Ukraine, when Putin has been trying to take over Ukraine for over a decade.

Putin wants the USSR back in all its glory. A lot of conservatives are still in denial that Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin is, has been, and always will be old school Russian KGB mixed with 1990s corruptocrat oligarch. Who he is and what he wants is as plainly visible as the neon signs in Times Square.

5: Finally, what gets me is, many of the anti-Ukraine, pro-Russia voices treated as legitimate voices are the same people die hard conservatives on FR avoided or would have dismissed as cranks. A few years ago, conservatives would have mocked Scott Ritter and Seymour Hersh. When the only people who want to interview an "expert" include Alexander Mercouris, Clayton Morris, or Andrew Napolitano, that's a problem.

6: The conservative press is a mirror of what it doesn't like about the MSM. Before the invasion, Ukraine was the victim of the Biden machine. After the invasion, they narrative is they were co-conspirators to get Trump. Trump has not said anything to promote this, yet this is spread on his behalf. Why?

Look at the DOJ filings against Tenet media. Tenet got money from RT, didn't register as a foreign agent. Tenet then paid social media content creators, and contractually obligated them to push pro-Russia, anti-Ukraine narratives. Tim Pool is now having to backtrack from being paid to push Russian narratives. So much for the independent press.

Finally, what gets me is how so many on the right are getting truths from frauds of the type we used to readily denounce, and are now embracing. I don't get it.
