Dramatic video footage captures the moment a flesh-melting Ukrainian drone sets ablaze a tree line hiding Russian military positions.
The UAV approaches the trees before spewing out a wall of molten thermite that scorches the ground below it.
The drone leaves a trail of fire behind as it disappears into the night sky after its devastating attack.
The video was posted to social media by Ukraine's 60th Mechanised Brigade.
“Strike Drones are our wings of vengeance, bringing fire straight from the sky!” the brigade wrote on its Facebook page.

Russia produces about 4 million tons of aluminum per year.
Ukrainian fighters will get badly burned if they don’t stop using thermite.
If this flesh melting drone works they should try to also develop a fire starting drone.

This is the first instance of Ukraine using incendiaries. The difference is Ukraine is using them on military personal and targets, not civilians.
Not that the Putin fan club will make any distinction between Ukrainian civilians and Russian soldiers.
I really don’t get Putanistas here. Are they Russian bots claiming to be Americans? Ukraine winning and reclaiming Crimea neuters the attempt to rebuild a Soviet Union.
We spent 7 TRILLION dollars on the Cold War while Putanistas here whine about wasting billions that would create stability throughout the rest of the world leaving the Chinese as the major threat to freedom. We’re wasting billions here on everything in the budget yet this is what they are bellicose about.
It’s a head scratcher to me why they want the oppression of free people so much. So many other countries are at risk from the Russians other than Ukraine. Welcome Sweden to NATO as an example.

Thermite is some nasty stuff. Back in the day (Navy, 70s-early 80s) we always had a flat-pack of Thermite in any safe that contained classified material. In the event of potential attack or overrun one would pull the igniter cord on the pack and it would destroy everything in the safe in about 10 seconds. Depending on the container, it would also destroy the safe... Nasty stuff.
My first reaction was utter horror, but it’s not as ghastly as it looks. See:

Now, when it dumps it all at once in bomb fashion, it’s intensified of course, and when it lands on a combustible structure, does quite a number on it.
