One takeaway from the Ukraine/Russia war is drone technology and use had advances by leaps and bounds. It’s gone from multi-million dollar Reapers to hundred/thousand dollar kits that are finding themselves down to the squad level.
Reddit is fills with gif’s of Ukrainian drones giving a top down view of itself dropping a single grenade into a Russian trench with great effect. Dropping grenades into open hatches of tanks.
Horrific.
I am, and have been, a supporter of Russia’s basic position in this conflict - but, I am also a supporter of the fundamental position that if you choose the laws and usages of war to gain your rights or your objectives, you can’t then complain that war sucks, or that there are unforeseen consequences, and you had better know that if you win you get what you want, but if you lose you get nothing or less that nothing.
There was a time when people of a certain political stripe wanted people tried for war crimes for the use of napalm.
Both sides seem to be using similar devices.
This needs to happen to those at the Daily Mail, since the love death and destruction so much. /spit
