I received a letter from Social Security (I’m retired).
It said if I don’t send the guy the documents he needs by the end of the week I could lose my benefits.
It didn’t say what information he needed, what this was about or anything.
I called MANY times. He never answered or returned the calls.
I went to the SS office. After 7 hours I was able to speak to someone. They told me he doesn’t have time to answer the phone or to return calls. They couldn’t tell me what it was about, either.
I finally got to speak to the guy after several weeks. It wasn’t anything to do with me: it was about my sons.
