As today's WaPo exposes, the Ukraine side is accelerating its own military defeat to Russia. This quote from a Ukrainian expert in the article unwittingly exposes the fatal flaw in their Kursk attack:

“The effect we aim to achieve should not so much be reflected on the battlefield as it should in the impact on the international community, the moral and psychological state of the Ukrainian people, and the demoralization of Russian society.”

It was a one way road (the ONLY road) in, the Russian drones, air superiority and artillery open and shut the road out at their pleasure now. The Russians have been more than happy to swing the door open to permit entrance to the slaughterhouse.

The Russians even opened the gate to allow a 20+ unit convoy to flee in the direction of Petrovsk last night. The Military Summary Channel has geo located footage of the column being Iskandered on the road.

It’s a horrible situation for the hapless, near ammo less Ukes still holed up in the pocket. Kadyrov and his Chechen hunter/ambush/killer units are making ghastly sport of killing them.

Militarily, it seemed like a stupid thing to do. All fluff, no stuff. They have/had no chance of keeping supply lines open. Whose idea was it?

Before the performance is forgotten. For his magnificent two day portrayal of Heinz Guderian, I’d like to nominate Z for an Oscar.

Unfortunately, The Russian rope a dope surprise ending turned the Uke screenplay to $hit.

I’m not sure Russia actually rope a doped Ukraine, they probably thought no one would that dumb to plan an attack that pulls forces away from the main battle for nothing more than a side show.

Once Ukraine went down that road, the Russians probably said, let them come on in, we will destroy them while stepping up our advance in Ukraine.

The result is, Ukraine has lost some of their best remaining troops while getting hammered inside of Ukraine.

A tragicomedy of errors by the West and Ukraine that started long before the latest waste of men and machines.

Reliable on ground reporting based on facts is hard to come by in the Russo-Ukraine war. Spinning a broad theory with thin information behind it does not count. Yet this much is clear: Putin is rattled and Russian civilians disheartened by Ukraine's Kursk offensive. This is of considerable benefit to Ukraine.

Seasonal rain, mud, and snow will soon make major offensive operations much more difficult and will literally freeze the front lines. Meanwhile, Ukraine is using drones to strike deep into Russia and doing considerable damage to military and economic targets. Sanctions and ongoing losses of men and material limit Russia's ability to generate new combat power.

If elected, Trump is likely to be able to arrange a swift cease fire or even a peace deal of some sort between Russia and Ukraine. The Kursk offensive has improved Ukraine's bargaining position and helps to disabuse Russia of hope for anything more than a stalemate. When victory is out of sight, belligerents have one good option: make peace.

No, that is totally false! Stop spinning administration and MSM narratives. Just because YOU haven’t ever looked beyond the MSM masters’ feeding trough is not my fault.

There is plenty of “reliable” information available on X and Telegram since before the war entered its new phase in February of ‘22. Why do you think I’ve been right about Project Ukraine since 2/25/22?

Always remember (I need a damned jingle):

“Look for the Putin stooge libel, News from Ukraine, you’ve gradually grown to trust over the course of 30 months”

So Ukraine fought a PR War according to the expert. So did NATO. Russia just killed them 7-1.

“This is of considerable benefit to Ukraine.”

For some reason I don’t think the Uke troops on the front lines would agree with that assessment.

They have been hung out to dry.
