Per SFPD: 49ers Ricky Pearsall was shot in San Francisco. Robbery gone bad. Pearsall was going to a signing on Geary/Market, got robbed, and struggle for the gun. Both Ricky and suspect shot. Both parties at SF General Hospital. Stable. Shot through chest over Rolex.

A NFL player was the victim? That is a switch.
We had some Freeper on here last week who implied that people who criticize what has happened to San Francisco in general, and Union Square in particular, don’t know what they are talking about and are simply repeating conservative points.
Never mind that there is extensive footage showing the comparative desolation that has enveloped that place. It’s not Somalia, or even Detroit.
Yet.
I used to take my lunch and eat outside there every day when I worked downtown San Francisco. I felt completely safe. 1969
one of the few really good Gators in recent years...
A bad day just got worse.
Shot in chest. That is damn serious. Wish him a speedy recovery
P.S., the Giants are going to have to move out from their stadium. Too bad cuz it's gorgeous.
If he was still alive Karl Maldin wouldn’t recognize the place.
Says in the article he was going to sign autographs
Zodiac was hunting SF in 1969!
I am all for people enjoying their money however they see fit. But wearing a Rolex in that part of the city is not a wise decision.
Glad Pearsall is in stable condition. Hope he is able to make a full recovery.
SF and Union Square has been declining for 2+ decades. I haven’t been there since around 2002 when I took my daughter and two of her friends into the City to shop for prom dresses. The sidewalks were full of litter (no homeless on the sidewalks at the time), but a homeless guy came and banged on my car while we were stopped at a traffic light. Such a shame. In the ‘80s and into the ‘90s, I’d take my kids in on the ferry and we felt perfectly safe walking around.

Michael Douglas Jr. is alive and no doubt he blames that $hit hole city on Trump in some twisted rational, POS.
Fun fact, when I was a kid my family took a trip to San Francisco and while walking through Golden Gate park, (probably around 1973) we saw Douglas and Malden filming a scene for Streets of San Francisco.
Kamala’s San Fransisco.
