First time I was aware of that headline. Gives more credence to the assertion that she had BPD.

Given that Charles was likely banging Diana's older sister and that it was Diana's older sister who encouraged Diana to get involved with Charles, I doubt Diana was ever much of a prude.

Wow. I remember getting the paper off of the driveway and seeing her photo in the top right hand corner of the front page with a caption that said “Princess Diana dies in a car accident in Paris” - and how shocking that was.
My friend said she was watching a late football game with her husband when a news bulletin came on that said the Princess was in a car accident, had broken some bones but was OK.

It is a shame when news outlets apologize for telling the truth.

I have been to the top of the tunnel entrance where Diana died.
It was covered in flowers and wreaths. Parisians and the world loved Diana.

I’m assuming they published the “Sex Mad” headline upon learning that she had gone to Paris with Dodi, her latest (and to many Brits, objectionable on grounds of his muslim background and parvenu father) partner, just hours before her death was announced.

I was in England, traveling up to Edinburgh, Scotland that Sunday. Had no idea that Diana had been injured or died until passing Edinburgh Castle, with the flag flying at half-staff. Thinking it was possibly the Queen Mother, I asked the cab driver who died. I asked him to repeat himself because it almost sounded like he said Princess Diana had died.
The royal family gathered that day at Balmoral Castle. My time in Great Britain during the next week was rather somber and unforgettable. Visited York Minster, where massive bouquets of flowers were left by mourning Brits. Diana was absolutely the People's Princess.
