The members of Swedish pop group ABBA have asked Donald Trump to stop using their music and videos at his campaign rallies, the band’s record label said.
ABBA hits including “The Winner Takes It All”, “Money, Money, Money” and “Dancing Queen” were played at a rally held by Trump and his running mate JD Vance on July 27 in Minnesota, accompanied by videos.

If the campaign apid the licensing fee, they have no right to complain.

As long as Trump pays them a quarter or two every time he uses one of their tunes, he’s good. Just like in any other gathering of people. They get their royalties.

Mostly too kitschy for me. Like Barry Manilow and Madonna, their little tunes didn’t age well.

Either his campaign paid the proper royalties or they didn’t, if they did the these old hacks need to STFU if Trumps staff did not, then the staffer that failed to understand the campaigns legal obligations needs to be fired and someone WHO DOES understand needs to be hired. Simple
