There's an investigation underway in Tempe after a Wells Fargo employee died while on the job. A new timeline released by police suggests her body was there for four days before being discovered.
"It's really heartbreaking and I'm thinking, 'What if I were just sitting there?'" a worker said. "No one would check on me?"
The body was found inside the Wells Fargo corporate office in Tempe. An associate who spoke with 12News anonymously said the situation is troubling.
"To hear she's been sitting at the desk like that would make me feel sick," the worker said. "And nobody did anything. That's how she spent her last moments."
Tempe police confirmed with 12News that on Aug. 16, 60-year-old Denise Prudhomme scanned into work at the building at 7 a.m. On Aug. 20, building security called authorities after finding an unresponsive worker. Officers arrived and confirmed that Prudhomme was dead.
Another employee who spoke with 12News anonymously said a colleague found Prudhomme dead at her desk in a cubicle while walking around the building.

Amazing what common curtesy and a general love of your fellow man can do.
I know what you mean. You’re exactly right.
I guess she had a dead end job?
Where I used to work, there was a guy who died at his desk. People thought he was working late but the next morning, he was still in there in the same position. At least they checked on him.
Sure seems like her area was not cleaned or security checked for days.
How very sad this story is, and very odd she wasn’t found for so long.
That may be the best get-a-bigger-office story I’ve ever heard! LOL
Did Wells Fargo request the ME to determine the time of death so they wouldn't have to pay her beneficiaries for any overtime?
Wells Fargo? ‘Nuff said.
Effective use of English and editors are totally overrated . . .
That is what real “clocking out” is.
probably got docked for non-production. now there will be an investigation to determine exactly when she stopped working to take the long-nap so there won’t be an overpayment on her next paycheck.
My wife calls them Hells Fargo. We dislike them very much, did business with them once because reasons, will never do so again.
A former supervisor that I worked for is in his late 70's and refuses to retire. The talk is that one he'll be found dead in his office, and no one is taking that as a joke. Unless he is forced to retire everyone is confident that's what'll happen.
More important than her starving cats, did the welfare checker remember to find and fill out the lady’s mail-in ballot for Kommy?
It's a smell you never forget.
I’ll bet that guy in the chino pants checks Joe Pedo’s pulse every so often.
I live alone, retired. I don’t think I could go more then 2 days w/o being missed by not responding to texts and Facebook Messenger. And not posting myself. By 3 days someone would surely be checking.
Miss Hathaway wouldn’t have.
Four days at my desk would kill me too.
