A woman who changed her style to wear 1950s style vintage clothing has revealed men now 'treat her differently' since transforming her wardrobe.

Brooke Stretton, 24, from South Yorkshire, became fascinated fashion from the 1940s, '50s, and '60s after watching the classic film Grease.

So much of clothing today is what a pimp would dress a woman in to distract a “john” from considering she might have one of those diseases that cause your ears to fall off.

Those dresses definitely say she is top tier and deserves the greatest of respect. She is also not obese. I graduated high school in 1964. The problem did not exist then.

We live in a college town in the south. Students have been streaming back. It is shocking to see these young, beautiful girls in in “skirts” that are basically panties with a ruffle. I am not a prude, but where are the parents saying no, that’s not acceptable. What do you do when you drop something? So many are wearing them. Modesty does not mean dressing like an Amish woman, but about having respect for yourself.

Yes! You are absolutely right. I still hold onto my jeans & tee shirts, plus shorts (appropriate for 60+), but I am enjoying the femininity of dresses and skirts more often. Hoping to inspire other women to opt for them, too.

Yes, and unlike short shorts or low cropped tops (or worse), these dresses cover good portions of her body, yet looking at her, you can tell that she is very fit and nicely proportioned, so all that other stuff is completely unnecessary.

This. If a woman is nicely built, it will be obvious no matter what she is wearing, as long as it fits well. No need to have boobs and bellies hanging out to look attractive. Ladies, leave SOMETHING to the imagination!
