And why was her son with her at 2:30 AM?
Or it was 3:30AM she was driving maybe in an unfamiliar area and didn’t realize she made a mistake
The article doesn’t make any comment about impaired driving
“in a wrong-way crash while under the influence...”

My dad quit drinking in 1979 when I was 12, but in the years leading up to that he drove us home with all three sheets to the wind many times.
I remember once, coming from a wedding dance, he was so sloshed you could barely make out his slurred words.
We always got home safely, but yeah, we were pushing our luck.
Probably waiting for her to come out of the bar, like my
dad use to do my mother and sister.
I have a friend on Facebook who lives right next to that area of the SS pkwy and wrote as it was happening, what’s all the helicopters?’ And friend wrote back an accident on the parkway. Iwas surprised to see the news that let me know what that was all about.
When we’d be out as a family, my mom would give my dad free reign all night, but when she said it was time to go, she meant it and he knew it.
It still took him a good half hour to get out of the bar because he had to talk to everyone sitting at the bar one by one on his way to the door.
