CHICAGO — President Biden gave a shouting and at times emotional speech Monday as he spoke to the Democratic National Convention after being forced to relinquish the party’s nomination — in remarks that, in a further indignity, were bumped out of primetime.
“America, I love you!” Biden, 81, said, dabbing his eyes after an introduction from his daughter, Ashley Biden.
The crowd — chanting “thank you, Joe!” — continued to applaud the outgoing president for several minutes before he kicked off his address.
“Thank you Kamala, too,” Biden said when the supportive heckling persisted throughout his 51-minute speech, noting his endorsement of Vice President Harris as his replacement nominee.
“I’ve got five months left of my presidency and I have a lot to do. I intend to get it done,” Biden insisted — as he prepared to depart later in the evening for a vacation in Santa Ynez, Calif., following weeks of notably few public events since he dropped his bid for a second term on July 21.

Biden said picking Harris, 59, as his running mate in 2020 was “the best decision I made in my whole career” — and claimed that “democracy must be preserved” by electing her.
Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff, along with Biden’s family, including scandal-plagued first son Hunter Biden, joined him on stage when he concluded — in a scene that resembled a nomination acceptance celebration.
“Let me ask you, are you ready to vote for freedom? Are we ready to fight for democracy and for America? Let me ask you, are you ready to elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz?” Biden implored the thousands of Democrats, who began to trickle out before he even finished speaking.

No questions about that, my point as soon as it became clear that Biden’s dementia was too much to hide and he going to lose to Trump, they kicked Biden in the ass as he was leaving.
If the polls showed a competitive race with Trump, Biden would still be sharp as a tack and accepting the Democratic nomination.

Hunter Biden, a degenerate crackhead and phallus-obsessed prostitute addict with a penchant for racial slurs, was “one of the strongest voices” urging President Joe Biden, 81, to stay in the race during a special family gathering at Camp David.
President Biden has “long leaned on” his 54-year-old baby boy for advice, but senior aides were understandably surprised when Hunter Biden joined them for meetings at the White House this week to discuss the fallout from the debate. For the time being at least, Joe Biden seems determined to take his son’s advice and keep running for reelection despite widespread calls for him to withdraw.
Ken Dilanian of NBC News reports: “Hunter Biden has joined meetings with President Biden and his top aides this week at the White House, four people familiar with the matter tell my colleagues, who are told the reaction from some senior White House staff has been, ‘What the hell is happening?’”

Joe’s meds he was pumped up with were wearing off. Now he’s in CA. letting the meds wear off so he can return to being a slack-jawed shuffling fool.
Harris has no communication skills or leadership. She acts like she does have those skills. It is more important to think she is cool. She is not.

That’s the Biden we know: worthless till the end. What he probably intends to do is enjoy one long, extended vacation, punctuated with pardons for Hunter and the rest of his corrupt family. And likely selling off the contents of the White House for personal gain.
What a sick family led by a chomo. The good news is there will be no Biden dynasty after his desiccated child sniffing corpse is disposed of.
