Read Charles Dickens’ “A Child’s History of England”.

It covers from the Roman period up to his time, Queen Victoria.

It use dto be required reading in British schools.

It’s very informative and entertaining and funny at the same time because of Dickens’ running commentary all throughout the book!.

Only Dickens could make history fun!...........
