I am on a regular basis amazed at how many people cannot see the trees through the forest. It's very clear and plain things were better 4 years ago. Economically, everything cost less, we were exporting energy instead of importing, and the country was well on it's way to having a secure southern border, other countries were respecting us again, and the country was going through a much needed healing process. Every working person or couple who goes to a grocery store has to be aware of the rising costs of not just food, but all of the other things you buy, paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, pet supplies. Want some steak? Well, dig deeper in you pocket, check the prices. Pork & chicken used to be cheap. Not so cheap anymore. $6.50 for a can of cheap coffee today. Crazy. So, the dems are touting how gas has gone down the past few days. It's still 50% more than when Pres. Trump was in office. And how much is left in the National Reserve? Ok, it's so obvious, unless you were about fourteen four years ago. Yet approx. 1/2 of America will vote for the same stupidity. Are half of Americans stupid? Or just bulldog loyal to an out of touch and incompetent party? Or don't care. I don't know which is worse. I just hope it's less than half.
I’m in MA so I pay no attention to the political views of the peoples around me. So, I guess I don’t have a good sense of “how people really feel”. But I see it like this:
1) Most people today feel pretty miserable and wish it were 2019 again.
2) The media shows (fake) polls indicating that most people are really enthusiastic about Kamala Harris.
3) Most people think those polls seems odd, but shrug them off.
4) Most people will vote for Donald Trump and against Kamala Harris.
5) The vote tallies will show that Trump wins in November.
6) The vote counters will announce that Harris won.
7) Most people will shrug and say, “Guess those polls were right after all”.
Agree with all but no.7. I don’t think the dems will be able to steal another election, they will try for sure, but I think the scrutiny will be much greater this time around.
Just think about how stupid your average democrat is. Now realize that half of them are even stupider than that.
—Paraphrasing George Carlin
“Democrats, if I vote for you can I still have abortions and trans schoolchildren?”
There’s your answer.
The other half don’t work or pay taxes either.
As I’ve said before, do not believe the hype. I am semi retired and I spend time looking at people’s comments on articles. NOBODY LIKES CAMALA. Axios and the Huffington Post are both left wing extremist websites. Even there people are skeptical about her being president.
Oh, I get flamed, but it’s not as much as it used to be. They may still hate Trump but RFK is rising.
46 percent in this Country would be fine with full on marxism. Sad fact.
You must understand, some of these people want our country destroyed.
Goebbels was right: propaganda works. See Tagline.
Goebbels learned everything he knew about propaganda from Edward Bernays.
Dumb & dumber.
We got smart and got the heck out of MA. You put your finger on the crucial aspect of this campaign: the need to keep hammering at the Dems positions on the issues, comparing now to the Trump years. It’s hard to break through the media’s protective curtain around Harris, and I hope Trump’s people can get him to focus on this. Talking about Kamala’s race, her crowd size, Brian Kemp, etc. is wasting time and marginalizing him! It makes me want to scream. (It’s also making me wonder if The Donald is still all there upstairs.)
Oh, I fully understand. Like Walz who let Minneapolis burn.
I do not believe the hype. Problem is many do. Too many.
Propaganda does work. But receipts don’t lie.
