The Musk-Trump interview was a conversation between two businessmen who understand government regulations better than most politicians or media lapdogs do.
It was huge, or whatever other adjective explains a two-hour conversation over the internet. The Harris-Walz team, or the ones who have not sat down with anyone, are furious that Donald Trump had a conversation with Elon Musk. It came about 24 hours after Mr. Vance made the Sunday show rounds. One team is talking and the other isn’t. Hello media!
Let’s check out one reaction in particular:
Axios’ @sarafischer: ‘@elonmusk will let Donald Trump speak all of the falsehoods & misinformation that he wants. I mean, he’s not a journalist … Does he want to be fact checking all the information? So I think it‘s just a platform for Trump to come out [and] say whatever he wants.’
There were countless other negative media reactions, but the theme is consistent: Musk got him, we didn’t, and he will get a bigger audience than we can ever get.
The problem with the outraged journalists is that they know that the Democrats don’t respect them. Why would they? The press was in the tank for the guy doing a basement campaign, and then for allowing the same person to go a full term without legitimate press conferences. The Democrats know that they can deny an interview, but still get a glowing cover photo on TIME.
Let me add this. I think that the Musk-Trump conversation was very consequential. It was not the softball interview that the media is reporting.

I wonder if Musk has determined who was behind the DDOS attack that shut down the interview for 45 minutes? What would the left be reporting if someone did this to Kamala?
Wouldn’t it be something if it were proved the attack came from the US government.
I would not be surprised at all.
Like the assassination attempt of President Trump?
Despite all the wailing and gnashing of teeth over who has/has not interviews, about who is/is not campaigning, it is all kabuki.
It matters not who the left presents as their slate of candidates. It matters not that those candidates can present a plan for the future of this country.
It matters not because the printing of ballots with K/Walz names on them has already started. The 20mm probably falsified votes that Cho BiDung received last go-round will be dwarfed by the number of falsified ballots that will deluge the ballot counters this November.
And the worst think is ... the Rs have done virtually nothing about it. They have allowed:
- No voter ID required in many states
- unverifiable chain of custody mail-in balloting
- ballot mailings to vacant lots that are returned and counted
- Rank Choice Vote counting (Constitutionally illegal)
- un-monitored ballot drop boxes everywhere
- ballot carrying mules filling those drop boxes
- no significant penalties for those mules
- etc
I have said this before: the Rs would rather serve in H3ll than rule in Heaven.
Yup. And the basement campaigns of the last two elections confirm it. No campaign would run like that if they didn’t know that it didn’t matter.
The fix is and was in. The GOPe would rather lose so that they can say “see, I told ya so” and get back to promoting the Bush wing.
“And the worst think is ... the Rs have done virtually nothing about it. They have allowed:

Etc, etc, etc.”
So, then WTF have YOU DONE ABOUT IT ByteMercenary?
What?
In FL we’ve cleaned up our voter roles and require Real ID for registration and voting.
Have YOU helped clean up YOUR state’s voter roles and voting requirements?
NO YOU HAVE NOT!
YOU HAVE ALLOWED IT BECAUSE YOU CONDONE IT “ByteMercenary”
Do you feel better now having gotten that out of your system?
I am not sure that that is what Flip is saying, at all.
Hillary and Joe’s campaigns WERE basement campaigns, accompanied by massive election fraud. We had best take note of this. It does NOT mean to give up. Trump actually won (was allowed to win) one of these.
I believe that this is a new “China-style” of phony elections being forced by the Democrats. It seems to be a requirement, for them, that leadership have no visible support of the people beyond what the controlled press says.
Why don’t let others speak for themselves instead of guessing at their intent?
I, for one, think that Musk should be fair and sit down with Kamala for a 2 hour conversation. I think that would be quite enlightening about her “thoughts” on the state of the government.
Why not let others...
Are you a betting person? /rhetorical question
Elon has invited Kamala to an X chat! As far as I know she didn’t accept.
They can talk all they want, but are they bringing joy? /s
Yes. Exactly!
Wish someone would push back hard on all this misinformation crap. The people do not need to be protected from any information. The people are capable of discerning veracity or BS. Which is exactly why Kamala ain’t talking beyond scripted soundbites.
