They are fake. Really Dems which is odd because Dems are ten times worse in their rhetoric.

These same idiots always complain Republicans never fight back. ALWAYS!

Then they get a fighter and the drop into the fetal position.

They need mental therapy.

Kurt Schlicter described this in a commentary from last year, "Beware the GOP's Festival of Losers":

The GOP's Festival of Losers

I think we can both agree that if there were a way to get though to those “undecided voters” it would be worth pursuing.

I think where we might disagree is whether it is possible, or if it is, is it worth the time and money to do so.

I heard someone explain it in these terms (I am making up the numbers, but it was along these lines):

“Undecided voters make up 20% of the electorate. Of that 20%, 40% of them are going to vote for The Leftist candidate no matter what you say to them. 30% of them are going to vote for the Other candidate. Of the remaining 30%, 60% of them aren’t going to vote at all. That leaves a thin slice of the electorate.”

In real tight elections, that could make a difference. I just don’t believe that we are in “real tight election” territory. I think there is, and has been massive voter fraud.

Their agenda doesn’t sell except to the ignorant or the ideologically driven.

I cannot remember who I heard say it (might have been Steven Crowder just recently) that when an interviewer told Kamala Harris that Ballotpedia (or some other similar site) had designated her as the most liberal Senator in the country back in 2019, she did that nervous cackle and attempted to play it down or discount it.

Crowder made the point that if you said to nearly any Republican (even perhaps the squishy ones) that Ballotpedia had designated them as the most conservative Senator in the country, they would almost certainly brighten up, straighten their back and say “That’s great!”

And that is because conservative economic and freedom ideas sell to Americans, and statist, tyrannical Leftist ideas don’t sell...and they damn well know it.

I think you and I can disagree on various things (I say that because I often read your posts) but I do see common ground here on that.

I hope...:)

Thanks, Fledermaus!

By the way, over the years, I kept seeing your handle, and it was tickling something in my brain so I had to look it up...:)

These conservative NeverTrumpers ….

Are actually doing the bidding of the current regime/the left.

They don’t really want change. It would put an end to their DC cocktail parties, govt jobs, etc.

I look at undecideds the same way I look at Log Cabin voters, libertarians, low information voters and single issue voters.

I don’t like ‘em, but I’ll take their vote.

And that we can agree on as well.

I have never really bought into the “undecided voter” theory. Everyone knows who they are going to vote for, they just like to call themselves “undecided” because it makes them feel superior to us voters committed to one side or the other. I was a political science major in college and took a class on political ideology from the department chair (who amazingly, was conservative) and he said, and I still believe, that the theory of the “independent” voter was basically bull——. Everyone leans one way or the other and almost always votes that way. I still believe that. People call themselves “independent” so they don’t get judged. At least that’s my opinion anyway. I know who I am voting for and it sure as hell isn’t Harris!

That is how I feel. They appear to enjoy their “celebrity” every few years.

I carried myself as an independent for many years until I was forced to declare myself to become involved in my town politics. It was required, which was no big deal.

Just to be clear-my disdain and disgust is for the “undecided voters”, not the independent ones.

I have a pretty good idea what those folks generally think. They don’t fool me-they know who they are going to vote for, and I am okay with that.

In his analogy …which political figure would be the Eddie VH of politics. Of course I know who he is…Valerie Bertanelli’s husband, right?
