I have never really bought into the “undecided voter” theory. Everyone knows who they are going to vote for, they just like to call themselves “undecided” because it makes them feel superior to us voters committed to one side or the other. I was a political science major in college and took a class on political ideology from the department chair (who amazingly, was conservative) and he said, and I still believe, that the theory of the “independent” voter was basically bull——. Everyone leans one way or the other and almost always votes that way. I still believe that. People call themselves “independent” so they don’t get judged. At least that’s my opinion anyway. I know who I am voting for and it sure as hell isn’t Harris!
