What does a “progressive” government think of private property rights? Well, they’re just temporary privileges granted by the all-powerful state which can be tread on and revoked at discretion.
Immediately after Kamala Harris replaced Joe Biden on the Democrat ticket after a successful coup—Biden’s first interview since the switcheroo, which aired yesterday, described being pushed out by colleagues—she held a fundraiser in Massachusetts, during which time Secret Service agents allegedly broke into a nearby business, a small local hair salon, so they could have access to private bathroom facilities. Porta potties are just so below their station, and of course planning ahead with private mobile bathrooms would have required competent preparation, something we all know the Secret Service seriously lacks, from the top tiers of leadership to agents on the ground.
Agents reportedly kept the door open all day allowing other “haves” to use the business’s restroom, snacked on the candy by the reception desk intended for salon customers, and when they were done, left the doors unlocked and camera lenses covered by tape.
Here’s the story, from a report at Business Insider:
Secret Service agents taped over a security camera and broke into a Massachusetts hair salon while securing the area for a Kamala Harris campaign event, according to the salon’s owner.
…
‘There were several people in and out for about an hour-and-a-half — just using my bathroom, the alarms going off, using my counter, with no permission,’ [business owner] Powers said.
‘And then when they were done using the bathroom for two hours, they left, and left my building completely unlocked, and did not take the tape off the camera,’ she continued.
Powers told BI that an EMS worker later told her the Secret Service agent in charge of security that day ‘was telling people...

At least there wasn’t a dog for them to shoot.
These guys are not even good at being criminals. They taped over the video camera, but did it occur to them that the act of taping over the video camera was itself on video?
And the police officers did not get fired? And people thought that was ok? Because they work so hard, surely they deserved to shoplift.
Yeah.
It is not ok.
And what you tolerate you get more of.
This happened in Pittsfield, site of the first Secret Service Presidential Protective Detail fatality in 1902, when President Roosevelt’s carriage collided head on with a trolley car.
In a free country, what does one do with an armed intruder breaking and entering one’s home or place of business?
Probably a Dartmouth grad.
I wish I was shocked.
Bring a check for $10,000,000 and the resignation of the Special Agent in Charge. Maybe then an apology will work.
They got video of the officer placing tape over the camera lens. Very clear.
They're there to still millions in bearer bonds and kill the hostages, but he still looks around sheepishly before stealing a candy bar. Yeah. That scene makes me chuckle to this day.
Oh, and leaving the biz unlocked too.
Just horrendous.
“did it occur to them that the act of taping over the video camera was itself on video?”
They thought the store owner was as stupid as they are—with communications down.
Lol.
What kind of dumb ass walks up to the camera and put tape over it? It’s like, we saw you idiot, right up until you put the tape over the lens. Freaking morons.
from what I understand Kamala had an itchy feeling down there and needed a quick shave before going on stage
The Secret Service came to her rescue and found just the right place.
“ What kind of dumb ass walks up to the camera and put tape over it?”
The kind that knows that laws don’t apply to them.
It’s just so damn idiotic. How stupid do you have to be to look right in the lens as you tape it over?
Probably looking for hookers too
And another thing, why put tape over the lens of what he was doing was OK? Business owners take note. Put up a dummy camera, have the real one hidden.
