Russian President Vladimir Putin was told Monday that Ukraine currently controls 28 settlements in the Kursk region, as Russia expanded its evacuations amid Kyiv's ongoing cross-border offensive.
The Russian state-run news agency, RIA Novosti reported on its Telegram channel that Putin had a meeting with top Russian security officials where he was notified by the acting Kursk governor that "the situation in the region is difficult" and noted that Ukraine currently controls 28 settlements in the region.
Video footage from RIA Novosti showed Putin reacting angrily and interrupting the acting governor during the meeting.

Wouldn’t want to be a colonel in the Russian army because very soon you will be a general as they are getting knocked off at record pace, either by the war or Puketin shoots them in the back of the neck when he sacks them for losing more ground and more men.

It looks like Kursk is only 6.5 hours (350 miles) to Moscow.

It’s Newsweek. The propaganda has gone into overhaul, in the last week or so.

What is the military objective? Seize the Kursk NPP? Is that going to happen? No. So now what? They run around like illegal aliens in New York killing people? How does Ukraine resupply the invaders (sorry, Newcomers)? It's a suicidal mission made for the press and Lindsey Graham. It's rabbit season. No, it's duck season. I don't buy any of this Newsweek disinformation.

In Kursk -The Ukrainians slapped the guns right out their hands and turned them on the Russians (this is from the first Equalizer 2014. Denzel's victim is a Russian gangster)

They’ve seized a central rail road hub and can watch Russia’s logistical trains move in real time, as well as stop any supplies and troops along the line they control. Which means Russian troops in Donbas will have supply problems.

+1
Informative.
(It also looks like Russia is being forced to redeploy troops and supplies, which detracts from efforts and apparently relieves the Ukrainians in other areas.)
