Tropical Storm Debby has made a second landfall near Bulls Bay, South Carolina as Debby slowly moves up the Eastern Seaboard and unleashes a dangerous flood threat for millions of Americans.
The death toll from Debby has risen to six after the latest news of a boater in Gulfport, Florida, was killed while trying to ride out the storm.
President Joe Biden has approved emergency declarations for Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida.
These declarations authorize FEMA to provide federal assistance to save lives, protect property and ensure public health and safety.

Do they call this one “Little Debby?”
Jeanne did this - only was much more powerful. Came back and whacked the east coast of FL (I think Sewell’s Point had 2 eyes cross over it in 14 days).
The thing about Jeanne was 90 sustained winds but it moved across us at 1 mph. 2004 was not kind to FL.
I was told my area of Florida got about 14 inches of rain.
We got about 16in of rain from Gordon in 1994
Worst hurricane rain I’ve seen is probably still Agnes in PA before I moved to FL. Probably more rain in storms I’ve been through down here, but the drainage is much better.
“Debby Does Daytona Beach”
Went through that in Rockville, MD at the time :) Took rubber rafts down Rock Creek towards DC. It was a blast!
