Vice President Kamala Harris has gone 14 days without holding a formal press conference since becoming the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee as of Sunday.
Harris announced that she had locked up the nomination late on July 22, declaring that she had won commitments of backing from a majority of the nearly 4,000 delegates to next month's Democratic National Convention. She has since hit the campaign trail, spoken at various events, and even chatted with reporters here and there, but hasn’t done a formal press conference or wide-ranging interview in the 13 days that have followed.
She also failed to appear at the National Association of Black Journalists convention in Chicago, where former President Trump made headlines on Wednesday with a heated question-and-answer session. On Thursday, she briefly addressed reporters at Joint Base Andrews as she and President Biden greeted Americans freed from Russia in a massive prisoner swap, including Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich.
"This is just an extraordinary testament to the importance of having a president who understands the power of diplomacy and understands the strength that rests in understanding the significance of diplomacy and strengthening alliances," Harris said. "This is an incredible day."
Harris, who became the likely nominee without receiving a single primary vote when President Biden announced he would step aside last month, has been so elusive that The New York Times published excerpts from an interview she conducted last year to see where her answers "land now."
Much of the Democratic Party — including governors, senators and House members as well as party leaders — quickly coalesced behind Harris following Biden's blockbuster news. But critics have started to take notice that Harris hasn’t faced tough questions since.

It’s a good talking point until she holds one but the questions will be:
“How did you and your family, especially your step children, react when DJT questioned your racial identity? “
“How does it feel to be the first beautiful black African Jamaican Indian Goddess Princess to run for the oval office? “
“Many say you are perfect but would you consider adding LGBTQ+ to your already impressive resume?”
“What will be your first steps as president to save the planet from MAGA and global warming?”
“Clearly Donald Trump is a traitor who could be sentenced to prison, but do you think his crimes might merit executing as well? “
“Many are asking why did you employ such an incompetent assassin in Butler? Can we expect better appointments in your administration? “
Those will be the tough questions.
Democrat strategy: keep her in the basement and convince the morons that she’s Joan of Arc, Albert Einstein, and Queen Elizabeth all at once. The morons—i.e. Democrat voters—will believe anything they’re told to believe.

It’s pretty much finished already. Biden also didn’t face the voters and when a certain group of people had no more use for him they were able to get rid of him in about 3 weeks. There is nothing about the country that says free people.

Idea. Stage a “press conference” restricted secretly to all friendly woke reporters, with pre-approved questions and rehearsed answers. Kamala will act surprised, kid around, show warmth and be a hit on TV.

They believe she is now substantially ahead in some states and in a tie with Trump in the swing states. In their bubble they want that to go on without being messed up.
They think Trump has to fight to come from behind, with the 100% 24/7 news media trashing him and glorifying Kamala to the finish line.

Maybe the stock market crash this week will help. If it doesn’t, then we have to fight harder.

This reveals a significant problem in the US.
She is the second presidential candidate not needing to campaign.
The cheat has already been organized and paid for so like Biden she doesn’t have to waste her pocket money or time with campaigning.
