Kamala Harris' handlers have been carefully curating all of her public appearances since Joe Biden was forced off the ticket and the vice president became the presumptive nominee. For the most part, that's meant heavily scripted rallies with high-level entertainers (in popularity, not quality) doing the heavy lifting.
On Thursday, she was put in a different position, though. Appearing in Houston, Harris gave the eulogy for recently passed Democrat politician Sheila Jackson Lee, and things got really weird.
At one point, Harris started touting her own political record. She then called herself "the president," which led to the room bursting out in applause. Remember, this is a funeral.
HARRIS: It was Sheila Jackson Lee whose bill made Juneteenth a federal holiday (applause), which as a United States senator I was proud to co-sponsor, and then as president, as vice president, it was my honor (long applause)...with the president, with the president, it was my honor, it was my honor with our president Joe Biden to stand beside Shelia Jackson Lee as our president signed her bill into law.
To make things even more uncomfortable, as all the rapturous applause is happening, the camera shot changes to a wide shot of Jackson Lee's coffin. Harris then begins laughing as she stumbles through the rest of her statement.(snip)
While I sincerely doubt that the press will have anything to say about Harris' use of a funeral to play politics or the very disrespectful actions of the audience, it's still disturbing. Is nothing sacred anymore? Who brags about their own political record at someone else's funeral? And who cheers for that person as they are doing so? It's just such a foreign concept to me (and likely most of you).

<><>gives a 15% increase to the Treasury in part to “improve the taxpayer experience.”
Biden/Harris are loathe to lower taxes yet uses tax money to prop up leftist activities that have nothing to do with military capability and the safety and security of American families.
Yes, people, Biden/Harris are apparently ramping up the IRS’ ability to collect more taxes. This is a higher Biden priority than deterring the nation’s adversaries and building a sufficiently sized and capable military to protect the people who pay for it.
The Biden/Harris administration’s plan is to protect defense contractors’ companies that support defense industry “investments.”
FYI-—Last year, the Pentagon couldn’t properly account for a whopping 61% of its $3.5 trillion in assets. That figure increased this year, with the department insufficiently documenting 63% of its now $3.8 trillion in assets.
Military contractors possess many of these assets, but to an extent unbeknownst to the Pentagon ........ and to Biden/Harris.

She knows one of two things;
1. Biden is going to be eliminated before the next Inauguration ceremony.
2. The election is already fixed more so than 2020.

The Clintons used to have the market cornered on funeral crashing.
Indeed one funeral Bill was at he was joking and grinning with some guy next to him until he spotted a cameraman aiming at him then went sad looking.
