In a video shared to his X account, formerly Twitter, Rittenhouse said he would be "writing in Ron Paul for president of the United States" come the November election.
"Hi, I'm Kyle Rittenhouse, Outreach Director for Texas gun rights. A lot of people are upset that I said that I'm going to be writing in Ron Paul for president of the United States, and that is true, I will be writing in Ron Paul," the 21-year-old said in the clip, referring to the former Texas congressman.
"Unfortunately, Donald Trump had bad advisors, making him bad on the Second Amendment, and that is my issue," Rittenhouse added.
"If you cannot be completely uncompromisable on the Second Amendment, I will not vote for you, and I will write somebody else in. We need champions for the Second Amendment or our rights would be eaten away and eroded each day. I support my decision and I have no takebacks." Hours prior, Rittenhouse shared a photo with Paul. "There aren't many people in this world that I get excited to meet but meeting @RonPaul was an incredible pleasure," he captioned the image, before adding in a separate post, "Still writing in @RonPaul !"

Who cares? Is some GOP voter going to change their vote because of what Mr Rittenhouse says? I doubt it.

How sad, seems he has become a fool lately...
The irony here is that nobody had worse advisors than Rittenhouse himself. His cause was originally taken up by Second Amendment advocates who wanted to use his case to advance their own interests.
Fortunately for him, he ended up with an attorney who cut off those other losers and focused on the matter at hand: the actual criminal charges Rittenhouse was facing. And this kid should have figured out by now that the Second Amendment wasn't going to save him from those murder charges.
I wish him well, and I think he's a hero for helping clean the trash from the streets of Kenosha ... but he always struck me as a naive fool.

I put 2A at the top of my critera for consideration. I am not a single issue voter, but it’s the most important.
Trump has stated publicly, many many times, that he supports the second amendment.
Kyle should consider which candidate can do the most to preserve his 2A rights. Trump is that candidate, Ron Paul is not in that position.
Wake up Kyle.
A write-in for Ron Paul is a vote for Commies, Kyle.

Ron Paul ain’t saving your arse
The National Rifle Association, the nation's largest pro-Second Amendment group, again endorsed Trump in 2024, as is it did in 2016 and 2020.
"A second term for President Trump is a victory for the Second Amendment. NRA members recognize that we are the torchbearers for liberty, and we are in a generational fight for freedom," the organization said in a statement. "With President Trump, we had a powerful champion in the White House who always fought for our constitutional right to keep and bear arms, and come November, we will return him to the Oval Office.”
In other words, Harris or Trump will win and KR doesn’t care which. Ok then.
Shame on you, Kyle! A vote for anyone but Trump is a vote for Kamala and her agenda.
