So I Google the following "Kamala Harris ethnicity" and this is what came up.

"Ms Harris is the first black and Asian-American vice-president, with Indian and Jamaican-born parents."

WTH? Can someone tell me WTH this means?

Her mother is 100% Asian Indian. Her father is mostly Caucasian. His birth certificate says Caucasian. Jamaican is not a race. She has never identified as black. Her father has never identified as black. She’s an opportunist.. A dumb one at that.

This is her father with Harris as a baby. Whether he's light skinned or not is up for debate - he certainly looks darker than her.

Her mom was a Tamil (south Indian). A pure Indian, no European about her. Tamils are usually fairly dark. I had quite a few Tamils working for me, for years.

The tech workforce is heavily oriented to south Indians, Tamils, Telugus, Kannadas (less of those).

Her mom, the Tamil, was quite accomplished. She was a physician and a cancer researcher at Berkeley. Kamala was quite an underachiever really, both her parents were much more intellectual people.

Also worked with lots of other Indian ethnicities, Sikhs, Rajasthanis (management types, they have a thing for it), Bengalis, etc.
