While a handful of events have already gotten underway at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Friday evening's Opening Ceremony will mark the official start of the Summer Games. The Games will take place over the next 16 days until August 11, yet somehow organizers are already running out of food for athletes in the Olympic Village.
Whether it's transportation nightmares, inadequate beds for the most elite athletes on the planet, or general infrastructure issues, some things always go wrong during the Olympics. Running out of food before the Games are even officially underway is a new one, and we're not talking about the Olympic Village running out of certain fruits or vegetables, either.
There is a shortage of two of the most-staple proteins for 99.9% of athletes: grilled chicken and eggs.
According to the Times of London, some athletes have resorted to bringing packed meals back to the Village because they simply can't get their hands on any chicken and eggs.
The reasoning behind the shortage of two of the most-eaten items on planet Earth is a result of Olympic officials pushing more plant-based food items on athletes in hopes of reducing the Games' carbon footprint.

If so it is an interesting way to tilt the scales a bit to the French side. It may lead to each athlete incorporating his dietary needs into the planning for the Olympic trip. An athlete’s luggage will then include all the food he/she will need for their stay abroad as well as cooking tools (pots, pans, microwave, mini-fridge, etc).
I’ll bet Deep States have really been getting off on making elite athletes eat swill and the prospect if making them swim in filth.
Elite athletes, you knuckled under for this.

These woke games are really pathetic. The “cutting back on the carbon footprint” is complete garbage thinking. What insane fools. I believe it would be great if absolutely no one watches this degenerate show of leftist inspired lunacy by mostly professional athletes. I’d rather watch paint dry.
