Donald Trump has ignited alarm among his critics after telling a crowd of supporters that they won’t “have to vote again” if they return him to the presidency in November’s election.
“Christians, get out and vote! Just this time – you won’t have to do it any more,” the Republican former president said on Friday night at a rally hosted in West Palm Beach, Florida, by the far-right advocacy group Turning Point Action.
“You know what? It’ll be fixed! It’ll be fine. You won’t have to vote any more, my beautiful Christians.”
At that point, with a slight shake of his head and his right hand pressed against the left side of his chest, Trump said, “I’m not Christian.” But he added: “I love you. Get out – you gotta get out and vote. In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.”
Trump’s remarks were immediately met with consternation in some political quarters.
The constitutional and civil rights attorney Andrew Seidel, for instance, replied to video of Trump’s comments circulating on X by writing: “This is not subtle Christian nationalism. He’s talking about ending our democracy and installing a Christian nation.”

He said that he’s not Christian? Let’s see the asskiss cultists on FR defend this. I already see one or two.
Have you been outside lately? It already is. Ask Netanyahu about the crew that got a permit to bust things up and start fires and burn the American Flag at the train station right next to the Capitol Building where he was speaking the other day. None were arrested and jailed for anything approaching insurrection.
This is completely out of context.
Another hoax and leftie lie.
And just when you didn’t think things could get any more stupid, here we go!
What is he even saying? Seems hard to spin this into something positive.
Sometimes Trump makes tongue in cheek statements that the MSM falls all over. I think he does it for the increased coverage. Remember the purposeful misspelling like Covfefe.
Or perhaps he just likes to pull their tales and see them run around.
Real President Trump should go with she was selected not elected.
He can also say the reason he will not debate her is that she was selected in a rigged primary and not the real choice of the people in the party.
I hope he takes over and throws the progressives out of helicopters…. Like Pinochet.
Trump is implying that once he is elected as President, he will enact policies to prevent future election fraud that has been so prevalent among democrat strongholds.
He says he needs Christians to vote for him just this one time, so that after he wins, we will have election integrity and democrats will no longer be able to cheat their way in. At that point, Christians can go back to their non-voting ways.

Doesnt matter as usual the offended are offended lol
The 20,000th Trump nothing burger and dummies like you fall for it.
Ah yes, trolling, gaslighting, laughing. Proven techniques for electoral success.
You need some Pearls to clutch?
I always see you carrying water for the left, so your comments are no surprise.
I *think* he was trying to say, if he’s elected he’ll fix the corruption or being about. Reagan-like change of heart such that the Good Guys will always win because it’ll always be a fair election.
But that isn’t true. The devil is the Prince of Lies. He’s pretty powerful that way. Indeed, we got 8 years of Clinton, Obama, and Bush. While the Dem Machine is never asleep, I’m pretty comfortable that these elections weren’t tipped by The Machine.
Furthermore, it really, doesn’t take much nowadays - every election from 2004 through 2020 (sans 2008) was decided by 500,000 votes or less.
Yesterday, Gen.Blather wrote that his Uncle who was big in Ohio Repub circles said “ said, each party candidate will attract about forty percent of the total vote. It doesn’t matter who they are, whether they’re good candidates or even if they’re dead. They get forty percent. All elections are a fight for the necessary eleven percent to make 51%”
He’s a smart man.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_presidential_elections_by_popular_vote_margin
Since Reagan’s landslide in 1984, the popular vote margin ranged from a high of 8.51% for Clinton to a low of -2.09% for Trump.
Further, since 2004 every election except for 2008 it has been a close election/it comes down to the handful of states that tip the Electoral Collage scale to the winner:
- In Trump’s win in 2016, his cumulative winning margin in the tipping point states of Wi, Mi, and PA was 77,444 votes.
-In Biden’s case, his tipping point margin was about 40k votes.
-Obama in 2012, it was about 500k votes.
-Bush in 2004, about 16k votes.
All this campaigning and rallies and debates blah blah blah…it all comes down in general to beating the other guy (or gal) by less than 100,000 votes.
Trump can change the hearts of the skeptical. But verbal clusters like this mess things up.
Fall for what?
You mean he DID NOT say it?
FU! Go to a rally and run your mouth tough guy.
Thanks for posting the context, Reno.
I had to read 30 Comments before someone explained that.
