There was. Oswald didn't cover his tracks. An open and shut case against him was developed before the weekend was over.

Mostly true. The committee almost entirely confirmed the Warren Commission findings, and tested all the conspiracy theories people were promoting, and still promote, and found them false.
But at the very end, some analysts claimed to find audio proof of a shot from the grassy knoll.

It was a very thorough investigation. It settled a lot of the questions that had been raised up till that time. It was only the audio business at the end that messed it up.
But not the last. Such a question is useful only for generating leads, not providing answers.
There was an image circulating that showed a close-up of a hole in his jacket.
There very well may be different weapons recorded. But we know law enforcement shot back, so it wouldn't really be surprising would it?

So many possibilities to theorize about the event. A fun mental exercise to discuss, but we will never hear the full truth officially.
But to prevent all this in the future, Trump should hire a Goodyear Blimp to hover over all the rest of his outdoor events, with 360 degrees of HQ video coverage, and a bunch of his own trusted snipers and spotters aboard, watching everything closely.
Less disruptive and annoying than drones and helicopters, plus he could put advertising on it in lights.

Turn these around. Garrison was a nut that made up crap and lied.
The Warren Commission was correct. Oswald did it, three shots from the book depository.

Did not establish conspiracy or multiple shooters. All evidence supported the Warren Commission conclusions, up until the audio evidence at the end. The congressional committee had already begun writing the no-conspiracy report.
That audio evidence has since been debunked and shown to be invalid. It is no evidence of any shooters.
That we know such a thing.

At the risk of stating the obvious, if anyone with half a brain wanted to utilize a second concealed shooter and mask that fact, they would be using the same type of rifle and same bullets.

His research is very detailed and he is one of the few who has mastered the thousands of pages of JFK docs that have been released in recent years.

Also the differing stories about who the LEO inside the glass factory were snipers or some kind of communication team seems suspect.
According to the video the guy that got hit would have been 13 feet higher than Trump.

This means the shot was taken from a LOWER position ... as in INSIDE that building.
First, passing throught Pres Trump’s 10’ high (6’ on a 3’ riser) ear ... then, arising on to the higher trajectory of the flag shirt guy, on the higher riser.
We know for a fact that FIBers/SS were stationed inside of that building.
