The Fed shooter on the roof behind Trump lost muzzle control two seconds into the firefight. He lost shoulder and scope contact and the rifle was free to wander.

This is a real time piece with videos at different angles. Take a look at the crane in the top left quadrant at the 2:12 mark….In this video, it was apparent that a hydraulic line to the crane on the left side of PDJT got hit by a bullet because it was spraying fluid like mad right after the shot (it is already spraying when this video is started). So... we know where the crane was located and we know where PDJT was standing behind the mic. Does a straight line traced from the punctured hydraulic line through where PDJT’s ear was located also go to the roof of the building where Crooks was laying? If not, I think there are two explanations... either the bullet bounced off of something on the way to the crane or there was a second shooter. If it bounced off something, one would assume that it left a mark...
THat depends. He claims that the first shot came from ground level, and not from that rooftop. An upward trajectory might have caught both Trump that the other man. Personally, I think he made that claim to bolster his theory that both were hit with the same bullet, because if the bullet was fired from the rooftop the trajectory couldn't have hit both men.

Possible, I suppose, but in the video he was talking about the very first shot that was picked up on the podium mic.
I don't know what really happened but, even though I disagree with some of what he said, I think the video is definitely worth watching.

I don’t put much weight in audio analysis.
Robert Blakey used audio extensively on the 1979 Committee on Assassinations.
One conclusion was.
Lee Harvey Oswald fired three shots at Kennedy, with the second and third shots hitting the president.
I never was able to swallow that.
Is the guy who was hit with the ‘same bullet’, as Pres Trump’s ear, within the trajectory?

Is there an aerial view that shows specifically where Crooks was lying on the roof, where PDJT was standing and where the other people were located who all got hit? This question is also relevant to my question in Post 25 regarding the hydraulic line on the crane....
Did Crooks manage to squeeze the trigger before he got hit and before all his shots were made? If the trajectory is way off after a first or second shot, it may be that he was pulling the trigger as he got hit and this moved his sights way off of where PDJT was standing.
One wonders how many of the bullets hit more than one person....

We now know from witness testimony hidden by the Warren Commission but taken by the FBI and finally released a couple of years ago...
That Oswald was on the second floor making change for a dollar when the shots were fired.
Several co-workers confirmed that. They and Oswald rushed to the window to see what the loud noises were.
Then Oswald took his change across the hall to the break room, bought a coke and was drinking it when a policeman entered the room and saw him there.
This is a very reasonable analysis .
I was of the opinion that there was only one shooter and the rest of the shots were from counter snipers.
This makes sense and we shall have to wait and see.
The number of empty brass shells found on the roof would be helpful but if there was coordination the shooter on the roof may have brought a few extras as a distraction.
If there was fire coming from the building they will find powder residue from the second shooting location.
With all the video and audio available they should be able to very precisely determine the location of the various shooting locations.
there was a bullet that bounced off the railing. A person went down about the same time further way but I havent looked at it frame by frame. Possible it grazed someone else before it hit the railing and then struck the person seen going down
The FBI is doing the investigation, so I wouldn’t expect that we will ever know. Frankly wouldn’t be surprised if they weren’t involved with the planning and coordination of the events of that day.
The entire FBI organization needs to be shi+canned in 2025.
There was never any reason to believe Oswald was the shooter.
I have not read that much about the 1979 Commission Report, but it was my understanding that Blakey the head counsel dominated the commission. His presumption was the Mafia was involved and spent a lot of time and resources with following that presumption and then when time and money was running out attempted to do some hocus pocus with the audio much like Arlen Specter did with the magic bullet.
It is a shame really as it was only 15 years after the murder and a proper investigation could have thrown new light on the events.
With the FBI in charge, we will never know the whole truth.
