Senator Bernie Sanders basically admitted that President Biden is declining, but said he will support him anyway.
In an interview with The New Yorker’s Isaac Chotiner, the Vermont senior senator confessed Biden “sometimes [gets] confused about names.”
“You’re right—sometimes he doesn’t put three sentences together. It is true,” Sanders told Chotiner, before adding a big caveat.
“But the reality of the moment is, in my view, he is the best candidate the Democrats have for a variety of reasons, and trying, in an unprecedented way, to take him off the ticket would do a lot more harm than good,” Sanders added.
Sanders spoke about how impressed he has been with Biden’s record in office, but didn’t entirely dismiss the question over whether Biden could serve as president for another four years.
“Look, I have concerns about everything, you know? And everybody should have concerns about everything. As a nation, we do a very poor job, both in Congress and in the media, of focusing on issues that impact the working class,” Sanders said, dodging the question. “So I would much prefer to have somebody who can’t put three sentences together who is setting forth an agenda that speaks to the needs of working-class people.”
When Chotiner described Biden as having “trouble completing a single sentence,” Sanders replied simply, “He does.”
Still, Sanders said that he’d prefer Biden stay despite showing signs of decline. It is a candid description of Biden that one would not hear from any of the president’s other supporters, and that is probably because of Sanders’s outsider reputation as an avowed socialist and independent in the Senate.

LOL. With friends like Bernie . . . .
Few things are more delicious than seeing Democrats turn on each other. It’s such an abrupt shift from their unbroken wall of solidarity.
Bless you, massa!
“...sometimes he doesn’t put three sentences together. It is true...”
THREE? LOL.
All of Bidens supporters are afraid of a trip to Leavenworth or maybe Gitmo when DJT takes office
Please, Bernard, tell us those "variety of reasons." Dying to hear them.
come on Biden I am rooting for ya!
I REALLY want Trump to have the opportunity to beat Biden, beating Harris is like beating up a retarded child. But payback for 2020 on Biden is priceless.
Quotes:
Aphasia is a language disorder that can happen when there is damage to parts of the brain that process language. In most cases, it comes on after a stroke, but it can also be caused by a traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, or tumor.
Aphasia can affect both written and spoken language. Raasch says some of her patients have difficulty reading or spelling words. Other common symptoms include producing speech that doesn’t make sense to the listener or saying one word in place of another.
“For example, the patient may say ‘cat’ when they mean to say ‘dog’,” said Raasch.
“Be patient; give the patient with aphasia time to communicate,” said Raasch. “If someone with aphasia is having difficulty understanding and responding, simplify what you’re asking. For example, avoid asking too many questions or providing too many options at once. Present the person with one option at a time and give them time to respond.”
Aphasia doesn’t affect a person’s intelligence.
Raasch emphasizes that aphasia affects a person’s ability to process language, not their intelligence. If someone with aphasia says ‘dog’ when they mean to say ‘cat,’ it doesn’t mean they don’t know the difference between a dog and a cat.
“Aphasia doesn’t affect the way they’re thinking. It doesn’t mean they’re less intelligent,” said Raasch. “People with aphasia can lead functional lives. They can return to work, drive again, garden. Life isn’t over if you have aphasia.”

“sometimes [gets] confused about names.”
SOMETIMES??!!
He referred to Lloyd Austin as Ketanji Brown Jackson just a couple of days ago.
Now warming up in the Dem bullpen, Hillary Clinton.
Put me in coach , I’m ready to play !
Bernie Sanders is so bought off.
It takes longer to decode what Biden is saying, than it does for him to stumble through it.
Sanders is such a cuck.
He allowed Hillary to manipulate the primaries when he was clearly winning, and he could have possibly beaten Trump in 2016.
That gives “bullpen” a whole, new meaning!
Comrade Bernie is an old school Commie.
Remember when the Red Chinese posted that phony picture of Chairman Mao that claimed he was so much alive that he went swimming.
Move over Joey, her comes Bernie. Share your pudding.
“You’re right—sometimes he doesn’t put three sentences together. It is true,” Sanders told Chotiner,”
Therefore according to this scumbag Traitor Joe is the man for the hardest and most important job on the planet.
IMO, Sanders is outright saying, “The person doesn’t matter, all that matters it holding the power.”
One of my very best friends had a stroke and did not get to the hospital for quite a while. I don’t know if that would have made any difference.
But he came out of it with a pretty bad case of aphasia. I can tell you it is one of the most G*d damndest rotten things that can happen to a person. Honestly, it would be better to lose a leg.
The connection between the brain and the mouth structure that forms words is severed. And there can also be damage to the brain.
“Aphasia doesn’t affect a person’s intelligence.”
Maybe not inherently, taken in laboratory isolation, but the same event (eg; stroke) that produced the aphasia probably very commonly affects the thought-forming mechanism in the brain and affects the feedback loop where a person’s brain validates whether what comes out of their mouth and what they say is actually what they intended to say.
And the proof (in my friend’s case) is that he can’t write out the thought(s) he is intending to transmit.
The affected person may know the difference between “cat” and “dog” but upon saying “cat” but meaning “dog” does not know that he said the wrong word.
My pal really wanted to continue his business, but was unable to distinguish between tens, hundreds, thousands, nor could he tell the difference between minute, hour, day, week, month. It was completely impossible, any conversation he had with an existing or potential client instantly destroyed his credibility.
