The societal forces creating people like the Butler, PA, shooter
American Thinker ^ | 18 Jul, 2024 | Jackson P. Chamberlain

We have created a generation of deeply damaged young men.

On Sunday, South Carolina’s Lindsey Graham said that the blame for the assassination attempt on President Trump falls upon the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks. True, but I’d like to add to that indictment that our culture is also to blame.

What I know of the 20-year-old Crooks is what you know of him, and while it’s tempting to say that nothing we’ve heard can be trusted to be true, we can at least assemble a picture of who he was—and wasn’t.

Crooks did an evil thing, but we can point to a lot of societal forces that may have pushed him there. His short, at times troubled life didn’t provide the experience necessary to grow up. This condition plagues our society at present, particularly among young men

SNIP

Crooks was a product of this leftist freak show, which permeates everything from the classrooms he attended to the movies he watched. This indoctrination intentionally destroys gender roles, faith, family, and (especially) masculinity and consistently blurs the line between right and wrong in an ever-increasing frenzy of top-to-bottom confusion and, more importantly, purposeful ignorance. In fact, Crooks was not only a product of this wickedness but perhaps may ultimately prove to be a poster child for it.

SNIP

Thomas Crooks’ finger may have been on the trigger, but Nancy Pelosi pulled it when she tore up Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech on live national television. Joe Biden pulled it when he “put Trump in the bullseye” and repeatedly said he is an existential threat to America. Benny Thompson pulled it when he tried to have the former President’s Secret Service protection removed, amply demonstrating exactly what he and his cohort wanted to see—a dead Donald Trump.

There is not a struggle in this country between the Republican Party and the Democrat party to find and elect the best people to government jobs.

The Democrat Party Organized Crime Syndicate exists to serve The Democrat Crime Families.

In turn, The Democrat Crime Families throw some scraps to the members of The Democrat Party Organized Crime Syndicate.

“Societal forces”???

Let me clear this up: FBI; CIA; governmental bureaucracies… are creating people like this shooter..

Do they want power or do they want wealth.

Power is hard to define.

Wealth is easy to define and see.

A thug with a knife has the power to kill you.

Would he trade that knife for wealth?

Sure.

Would a wealthy person trade their wealth for a knife?

I don’t think so.

I am pretty sure you haven’t thought this one out. Depending on the situation, of course a wealthy person would trade his wealth for a knife. Would you trade your wealth for a parachute if you were in a plane that is going down?

Thomas Crooks was a suicidal Antifa Democrat masquerading as a Republican to affect the Republican primary in Pennsylvania who saw a chance to go down in a blaze of glory from bullets fired by the cops.

‘Shouldn’t You Hate Trump?’: Former classmate recounts being called ‘Stupid’ for backing Trump by Crooks.

I keep asking this, but no responses... was the shooter checked for drugs, prescription or otherwise? Was he taking antidepressants?

You spent about 22 minutes thinking about this issue and posting to me.

You start your post by insulting me and writing that I haven’t thought through this issue.

You feel that you can analyze this issue in 22 minutes and post your deep thoughts on this matter to me.

Your arrogance is astounding.

I don’t know anything about this Crooks loser except his name, but I’ll bet this is a very accurate profile of him:

1. No siblings

2. Affluent suburban upbringing

3. No real hardships in life

4. Living in a state of perpetual childhood because there was nobody telling him it was time to grow the hell up

Combine these four factors together and you have a person who is becoming increasingly typical in America today: a young adult whose mind creates enemies and catastrophic crises out of nothing because he is coddled to the point where he’s literally bored to death.

"...South Carolina’s Lindsey Graham said that..." - maybe the poorest indicator that anything intelligent will follow.

When Graham talks, it's a positive sign that his mouth works, and nothing else.

The major statewide races in PA this year — the presidential election and one Senate election — have sitting Democrat incumbents and no primary challengers. So there was no reason for registered Democrats NOT to change their party affiliation and vote in the GOP primary.

An entire generation of young people have been brainwashed with twisted ideologies, have been emotional crippled by the needless COVID isolation and are bombarded with idiocies by he likes of TikTok. The Nashville shooter, the Perry, Iowa school shooter and others were warped with the gender bending ideology. The attempted assassination of Trump was carried out by a emotional loser likely influenced by the hate Trump rhetoric that fills the media. Antifa fills its ranks from these disaffected youth and will likely again be rioting in the streets

From what little that has come out about Cook ( Not convinced it’s necessarily trustworthy!). He seems to be in Czologz (McKinley’s assasin.) mold more so then any other.

I'm sure Crooks thought in his demented mind that he was - "saving the world from Hitler," i.e., Donald Trump - and was doing "all of us a great service by killing him."

Biden needs to be held accountable for saying to "put Trump in a bull's eye" - the same as Sarah Palin was blamed for the shooting of Gabby Giffords:

"New York Times corrects editorial that drew huge backlash for blaming Sarah Palin in Gabby Giffords' shooting"

The New York Times corrected an editorial on Thursday that suggested the man who shot Rep. Gabby Giffords was inspired by an ad former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's political action committee sent putting a target on Giffords' district.

John Hinckley’s parents were said to have been Republican donors. They can report anything that they want about him now that he is no longer in a position to respond.

Don’t forget the powerful money behind the Globalist Power grab. It has not gone away and I smell that right on this Assassination attempt(actually he did kill people).

All reference to Crooks has been thoroughly removed from all web content. All of it. Every trace.

And Larry Fink of Blackrock, has stated that there was an advertising they put together with Teachers and students at the Butler PA school (including Crooks). And that the children were not paid to participate. (but were the kids exposed to Larry Fink’s medicine?) Fink said they removed all the ads but if the government wants them he will cooperate with them. Do you think he feels guilty?

Was it a coincidence that there was a 12 million share “short sell” on Trump’s Truth Social, the day before the assassination attempt?

Unless a serious congressional team dig into this, it will simply disappear in a few days.

The writer of this article has no idea what "created" Crooks. He's just pivoting off this situation to throw out some speculation and vent his spleen about "societal forces" that personally piss him off.

I pretty much agree.

...besides, that's what dems/marxist/commies do...

...always blame "the system" for (their frustrated desires) "everything that's wrong"...

...Never do they take - or assign - individual responsibility for their, or others' choices.
