It’s not just the MSM anymore. The Leftists on social media like X and Reddit revealed their true colors with endless “It’s a shame he missed” comments. These people won’t stop even if the MSM does. Yeah, that's my conclusion, no political solutions. I'm on the fence but leaning toward divorce, that is true. But yeah, it wouldn't be without a high cost. Even if somehow we arranged a peaceful split, we'd be sunk as a world power, China would assert itself boldly, there would be chaos... or maybe WWIII (which might unify the nation, or whatever smoldering piles remain.) So, probably as a last resort. But that's also probably CWII. Do you think MSM could instrument a de-escalation at this point (if they earnestly tried)?

I moved to rural TN 2+ years ago for this very reason. It's nice, and affordable. The other day I stopped by the nearest Walgreens (30 miles away) and, as I was checking out, asked the manager/cashier if she would hold my bag while I went back to their restroom. Her answer ... "Oh, we don't have any shoplifting here. Take your bag with you."
