Old video of Thomas Matthew Crooks having a meltdown and yelling he wants to slit Republicans' throats on the Arizona State campus where he was a student [Edit, Note: This is probably not TMC. --John]
Yeah, I visited the area in January 1996. My mother had passed the year before, and I wanted to know more about my family history there. I hit Queen's College to check the census records, and stopped at the Archives in Toronto to get a copy of my great-grandmother's Will. I never knew any of my grandparents. All passed before I was born in '47. I went back to Picton a few more times to meet cousins I never knew I had. I wrote a letter to The Picton Gazette asking if they'd publish my search for relatives, and they were kind enough to do so. It was on those other visits that I learned Tim Horton was a cousin of mine. Hadn't heard of him until then. I haven't been back there since the late 90's.
thank you
Don’t believe everything the MSM or the Biden administration tells you, either.
It’s still nice. A cousin of Tim Horton? That almost makes you Canadian royalty.
LOL!! When I went to Picton, I took my youngest son with me. At the library, we told the librarian what we were looking for, so she brought out microfilms and family history books. I gave my son a list of last names to look for, and he found both the Way and Fox families in the book titled: "Pioneer Families of Quinte County." I was shocked. Those were the same two families that had initially settled in downstate New York. Catherine Fox, my 3rd great-grandmother who had been born in Sophiasburgh, Ontario married Daniel Frederick Way, my 3rd great-grandfather who had been born in Fishkill, NY., and moved to Canada.
