I'm not a drinker myself, but I know a couple of guys who have hobby stills. They don't sell it. They have kind of a club where they compare notes. They aim for quality. I've tasted their wares and its not bad. Personally, if I want a drink, I'll take beer.

“The court found that regulating home alcohol stills is not one of the enumerated powers given to the government. “

Those are FIGHTING WORDS for the Left.

Give Trump 55 Senate seats and he’ll get this guy on the 5th Circuit and even the Supreme Court when that becomes available.

Of course some here will find reasons to deprive Trump of the seats he needs, as all they can do is pout about so-and-so Senator being a RINO*, so I may be dreaming again.

*even though RINOs voted 80% plus for Trump’s contested judges.

Yeah, me too on the beer.

Hopefully this is the first of many rollbacks.

It sure would be nice to roll back the NFA and GCA!

Prohibition was unconstitutional.

Silly judge. Doesn’t he know the ‘Commerce Claus’ gives Fedzilla the power to do anything it wants?

Prohibition was quite Constitutional. An amendment was added to give it that power. If course that was eventually repealed but it echos a time when the busy bodies out there thought they needed an amendment to do so. Nowadays nameless faceless unaccountable bureaucrats can create regulations on a whim.

Let's indict President George Washington for his actions in the Whiskey Rebellion!

LOL. That was my thought too. The government owes an apology to the members of the Whiskey Rebellion.

“ Prohibition was unconstitutional.”

No it wasn’t. A Constitutional Amendment was duly passed and enabling legislation enacted.

So too was the progressives’ other prohibition, the 1906 pure food and drug act under progressive RINO Teddy Roosevelt.

Daum! I guess President Washington personally lead the fight against the Whiskey Rebellion in vain ... [Now THERE was a President! Personally leading the troops like the Kings of old!]

“This Country has a proud tradition of fine homemade liquor and fast cars to outrun the Feds.”

And at least one song about it...Recorded by Robert Mitchum in the 1950s.

Ballad of Thunder Road

Now let me tell the story, I can tell it all About the mountain boy who ran illegal alcohol
His daddy made the whiskey, son, he drove the load,
When his engine roared, They called the highway thunder road.

Sometimes into Ashville, sometimes Memphis town
The revenoors chased him but they couldn’t run him Down
Each time they thought they had him, his engine would explode
He’d go by like they were standin’ still on thunder Road.

[Chorus:]
And there was thunder, thunder over thunder road, Thunder was his engine, and white lightning was his Load
There was moonshine, moonshine to quench the devil’s thirst
The law they swore they’d get him, but the devil got Him first.

On the first of April, nineteen fifty-four A federal man sent word he’d better make his run no More
He said two hundred agents were coverin’ the state
Whichever road he tried to take, they’d get him sure as Fate.

Son, his daddy told him, make this run your last
Your tank is filled with hundred-proof, You’re all tuned up and gassed
Now, don’t take any chances, if you can’t get through
I’d rather have you back again than all that mountain Dew
[Chorus:]

Roarin’ out of Harlan, revving’ up his mill, He shot the gap at Cumberland,
And screamed by Maynardville
With g-men on his taillights, roadblocks up ahead The mountain boy took roads that even angels feared To tread.

Blazing’ right through Knoxville, out on Kingston pike
Then right outside of Beardon, there they made the fatal Strike
He left the road at ninety, that’s all there is to say
The devil got the moonshine and the mountain boy That day

[Chorus:]
