Alex Baldwin charges dismissed by Judge.
Equal protection under the Law?
I’m know fan of AB and he was a dummy for pointing a gun directly at her but it’s not his fault a live round was in the chamber. Prosecute those responsible for handling and maintenance of the prop guns on the movie sets.

It would be so delicious if there is a civil trial. Keep him in the court room for as long as possible.
It was a movie set where any firearms should not have any live ammunition on the set. NONE!
The blame rests entirely on the "armorer" who allowed live ammunition to be there.
As a side note, based on her age, what were her credentials to be a registered armorer anyway?
Not really. The supposed evidence wasn't relevant to the trial, and was completely immaterial to the charges against Baldwin. His charges had nothing to do with where a live bullet may have come from.
I say again - the judge did the right thing. The pistol was a movie prop, not a weapon as far as Baldwin knew. The end.

Isn’t the armorer responsible for all the weapons on the site?

Logic would dictate dummy rounds be obviously different, usually painted, vs actual rounds.

Completely disagree. If the prop guys say “this is a breakaway pane of glass” it’s not the actor’s job to check before throwing a stunt guy through it. Same deal with a prop gun.
The assistant director was in charge of her. He handed off the gun but did a plea deal that the State thought would get them the young armorer (it did) and Baldwin separately. Baldwin had the place in hijinx mode and probably knew about the live ammo the state failed disclose possession of and it was know to have existed from prior testimony.
Let’s hope Judge Cannon does the right thing and kicks Smith off the Trump case before her, just as Thomas has suggested (in so many words).
Seems like the prosecutors were paid off to screw up the case
I don’t blame the Judge, the responsibility lies with the voters who elected a prosecutor that is lacking in basic skills.
So perhaps Trump’s Star Chamber “trial” in NYC can similarly be dismissed, as the judge prohibited Trump from presenting evidence (the testimony of the former Chairman of the Federal Election Commission, who would have proven that Trump committed no violations of election finance laws).
Of course, he’s a democrat.
