This could all change with another poor performance, at NATO or elsewhere. Dems in Congress don’t want to go down with him.

After the deed is done then the media can keep busy covering it up blaming it on his fragility and old age.

The problem is the second debate.
After 2020, after “COVID”, after millions and millions more illegal aliens have been waved into this once great country, it is pretty evident that the people of this country don’t have any say at all.
I think it is becoming clear, Joe won’t go at least not willingly. The rats may in fact rally around him, but as the election disaster becomes more inevitable, darker forces will demand a solution. Donald Trump cannot be allowed to win. Assassinating Trump would incite civil war, so I think that is out. An old man, unsteady on his feet, meeting a tragic untimely end, well…we could have a tear-jerker orgy and a younger fresher candidate (whoever—take your pick) taking up the banner would attract all manner of emotional cripples, which is a good half the electorate. Welcome the next president-to-be-named -later.
