I used to work for a vet who always said that beef cattle have mostly a very nice life...until that one last day.
If we didn’t eat them, most of our domesticated animals wouldn’t live in the first place.
If God hadn’t intended for us to eat animals, he wouldn’t have made them out of MEAT!
And no, I vil not eat ze bugz.

When someone starts in on the whole cow farts killing the planet, I nod sagely, saying how often I have heard about the problem...
But then, I say, with a hesitant note of confusion...
“How on earth did our planet manage with all those billions of bison farts across the great plains back in the day. I will have to research - to see if there is an explanation as to why all that methane didn’t harm the climate”
I did my meat vs. veggies research and discovered that “ruminant protein” is actually more nutritious than vegetables, and or vegetable protein, and is more easily absorbed by our bodies than vegetable nutrients and proteins.
But, to each his own, and let’s live and let live. I want all animals to be treated humanely, and those who abuse them harshly punished.
