There is a growing movement to surrender American sovereignty to international bodies. This effort—championed by a global elite—excludes the participation of the American people and threatens our national security.

The words sound familiar from perhaps another interview or another video but this title didn't come up when I tried a couple of the words as the search arguments.
Either way, it's a pretty good video but notice the date is from a little while back
why do you think Governments around the world want the little people disarmed? in their version of the brave new world only two classes of criminals will have guns...the ones without badges and the ones WITH badges. “IF you think that government is overbearing now just wait until you are completely disarmed” applies.
It will take one Carrington-level event, one Chinese EMP over an American datacenter complex like those in Virginia, and all of this comes crumbling down.
All of it is at the whim of an “agreement” among political powers to play by the rules set forth. It takes one entity, one person to light a brushfire that brings it all crumbling down, and they know it.
That one person is Donald Trump, which is why they are so feverishly trying to stop him.
Here's the formatted transcript for anyone interested:
The real end game is that a self-appointed group of people in Europe and the United States, mostly, but also in westernized countries like Japan, South Korea, Australia, etc., have gotten together. These are mostly western or westernized elites who have done very well out of neoliberal capitalism and have more money, influence, and power than anybody would ever imagine in the history of civilization. They feel they have a formula they want to impose from the top down on the rest of us.
There are certain protocols they abide by. One is that they are never subject to the consequences of their own ideology. They have to be anointed and exempt. For example, John Kerry has to have a private plane on our behalf, Al Gore has to have a 10,000 square foot home on our behalf, and Michael Bloomberg and Bill Gates have to fly all over the world and invest billions of dollars in communist China on our behalf. Their goal is to supersede the constitutional governments in Europe and the United States with a supranational government under their control. If Ireland wants to have a lower capital gains tax than the average EU country, they can't do that because it would be freelancing. If the United States meets the Paris Climate Accords without being a part of it, that doesn't matter; it’s considered a renegade state.
There have been these experiments throughout history: Alexander the Great's Brotherhood of Man, Napoleon's Continental System, and some of the people who dreamed up the League of Nations wanted Esperanto as a universal language. However, they all failed because history shows us that the most effective means of organizing people is the nation-state under a constitutional system that reflects unique characteristics, protocols, and traditions within defined borders. That's what they are trying to destroy. They say it's different now and will succeed where other utopian schemes have failed because we're a global village.
They are not shy about suggesting that the ability to call someone halfway across the world on your cell phone, email instantaneously, or have TikTok and Facebook in every nation has created a one-world culture. They believe this has made previously failed political efforts viable now. It’s no accident that some of the people driving this come out of Silicon Valley, especially because they profit from it. They feel there is one international culture that has been organic and all it needs now is a formalized political structure. This structure would prevent someone in Montana from lighting a fire for a barbecue, someone in London from cooking on a natural gas stove, or someone in Nigeria from passing a law suggesting that sex is determined biologically.
Klaus Schwab, as you know, wrote a book called "Covid and the Great Reset." He said this panic-induced global cooperation, lockdowns, and uniform policies about social distancing and mask-wearing could be superimposed in peacetime. This shows what the world can do if it has sufficient terror. Hillary Clinton said you should never let a crisis go to waste; she believed Covid allowed her to promote single-payer healthcare. Here in California, Gavin Newsom said it's tragic about Covid, but it has at least given us a chance to have a more progressive capitalism. The premise is that nobody in their right mind would willingly surrender their sovereignty to this group of people who have no allegiance to any particular nation and never live by their own ideology. Therefore, there has to be coercion, or people have to voluntarily give up their sovereignty out of fear of climate change, Covid, or an energy crisis.
They really do want to cut back on fossil fuels, which could create a crisis. They tell people in Holland or Europe that nitrogen levels are too high in farming, so they must cut back. They are always looking for a crisis to sneak in political authoritarianism. However, there has been a pushback. We saw it with the Trump candidacy and four years of his presidency. Now, the opposition is in the Republican Party. The old globalist interventionists like McCain, Bush, and Romney are no longer influential. Any serious candidate for higher office in the Republican Party will oppose the Great Reset. They will support border security, oppose optional military operations in the Middle East, advocate for energy self-sufficiency, and champion a unique American culture that privileges the middle classes. This stance contrasts with the old stereotype of the Republican Party as silk-stocking aristocrats on the golf course.
This revolutionary reaction in the United States has counterparts in Europe, seen in demonstrations in France and Britain. There is a lot of anger toward these elites, much of it stemming from their hypocrisy and their unwillingness to live in the manner they want everyone else to.
This is going to be an interesting year - especially between now and November
Oh, awesome.
:-)
The concept of the “Benevolent Dictator” is an important one.
It’s a very old concept. It’s an excuse that the arrogant power mongers use to rationalize their sociopathic megalomania. It is based on the basic premise that the masses are stupid and cannot make decisions for themselves.
Hanson’s premise here is simple. A “benevolent junta” (my term) of rich and powerful people think that because they are ambitious exploiters, somehow they are smarter than everyone else, and they want to take advantage of the current conforming social/cultural state of the world brought about by the digital communication is the perfect time to consolidate power overriding the sovereignty of nation states.
Most of us are aware of the arrogance of the ‘globalist’ types, but it needs to be repeated that what they want isn’t just a pipe dream. These people have the a lot of resources

They certainly have the Globalists’ doctrine and the will to implement same.
And a lot of contacts in high places.
