While SCOTUS and the election dominate conversations, I have been looking at why the sudden and open rise in anti-semitism in the United States. While Christian denominations are rapidly going woke and, as such, becoming irrelevant, Islam has not waivered in its convictions. Christianity cannot proselytize fast enough to replenish its losses. While Judaism does not seek to proselytize, Islam aggressively seeks converts. By 2060, when I will have reached room temperature, Islam will be the dominant religion globally. People will not look to the Vatican; they will look toward Mecca.

Politically and historically, Socialism fails as it runs out of other people's money. I believe there is a tendency for Socialism to be followed by either Nationalism or Totalitarianism. Islam can fit nicely into either system.

Anti-semitism has always been lurking in the shadows, but suddenly, it is not only okay to be anti-Semitic, it is fashionable. Is the great reset the end of Judeo-Christian America and the shift to Islam and Islamic politics? Have Americans allowed the camel's nose into the tent and, as such, sealed our own fate?

The West has abandoned its Judeo-Christian culture and tradition. Families were once the central building block of our society. The Biblical command to “go forth and multiply”, and the implicit respect for unborn human life has been replaced with sexual hedonism and abortion as a means of birth control. One thing we have is many men from South of What Used to be the Border who are masculine & have Catholic backgrounds. I know many Hispanics have been drawn to Islam, still we have a bit more time than Europe. That is not the original title. WASPs in the US were replaced a long time ago and they were never more than a small part of the world population.

WASPS vs Arabs is easy - British common law vs sharia law. And the ccommon law tradition was the US unti our system decided to deprecate the common law in favor of unadulterated statutory supremacy. And BTW our great hero Scalia hated the common law. Stuatute give such precision to the law, like prosecuting J6ers for anything else not covered in the first part.

I don’t see the parallel to Islam as much as to the Brahmins, who are about 5% of the of course much larger Indian population. It’s not an accident that WASPs in Boston have also long been referred to as Boston Brahmins.

I think it was Richard Brookheiser who wrote, about 20 years ago, that the great unreported story of his time the Jewish displacement of WASPs as America's ruling elite.

So the answer is, the Jews replaced the WASPs.

WASPs became complacent and guilty -- convinced that their domination of America was racist and anti-Semitic. So they opened their Ivy League and private clubs to everyone. And lost their grip on power during the 1960s/70s.

So blacks and Muslims and Asians -- thanks both to DEI and Jewish complacency -- are not replacing WASPs. They're replacing Jews.
