"white sox tickets" — It's difficult to imagine the shame that some people must live with. My wife and I had a layover at O'Hare on our trip home from Montana yesterday. We went into a watering hole at the airport to get a beer and saw a very large black guy drinking a glass of wine by himself. The seats next to him were the only two open so we sat next to him and had a very nice conversation. Very nice guy. After he left, some guy came up to us and asked us if we knew who we were talking to. Nope, we said. He informed us it was baseball hall of famer Frank Thomas, "The Big Hurt," from the White Sox. I stopped following baseball a few years ago and never followed the White Sox, so had no idea.
