Somehow, the idea of requiring or even expecting factual statements has been forgotten.
There are even cases I have heard where mis-statements are openly and deliberately libelous...but which go unchallenged! I mean, some of that stuff is absolutely 'actionable'.

Nominal GDP has been DEBUNKED as the main measure of a country’s output and Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) is a closer measurement. For example, it implies that the US has more output than the country that consumes nearly 50 Percent of world’s resources and produces vastly more of virtually everything (such as twice as many cars, for example), which is China.
If our ‘friend’ looks at PPP, especially the June 2024 update, everything changes, with Russia being Number 4.
Again, it’s this inability (really unwillingness) of the Neocons and their supporters to ACCURATELY assess what they are up against which has gotten us into the mess we have in Ukraine, where the entire West and much more, have virtually EMPTIED their military arsenals against a country that they considered barely more of a threat than, say, Belgium.
